Begy, Velma A., May 13, 2006, age 93 of Port Charlotte, Florida and Rochester. She was born February 5, 1913 in Ogden. She is survived by her daughter, Irene (Danny) Adam; son, Lee (Joanne) Begy; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Leon.

A Graveside Service was held July 19 at Parma Union Cemetery, Hilton. Contributions can be made to Tide Well Hospice and Palliative Care, 5955 Rand Boulevard, Sarasota, Florida 34238 in her memory.


•Rushton-Kelley, Mary, July 15, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her parents, Albert and Daisy Coffee; sister, Wilma; brothers, Sammy and Jim. Survived by children, Arthur (Sharon), Gary, Teri, Kevin Rushton and Laurie (Joe) Schott; grand-children, Erica, Charlie (Katie), Renee, Jessica, David, Elizabeth, Katie Lynn and Jennifer; great-grand-children, Caitlan and Little Charlie; sister, Ginger (Bill) Hardy; brothers, Dave and Kiffy Coffee; many nieces and nephews.

No formal services were held. Contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Open Door Mission in her memory.


•Scacchetti, Carl R., Jr., May 28, 2006, former Rochester City Court Judge. A Memorial Mass was held July 22 at St. Leo Church, Hilton. Those wishing can contribute to the American Heart Association in his memory.

Barber, Anthony V., July 14, 2006. Predeceased by his son, Gregory. He is survived by his wife, Joann; his children Mark, Lisa (Thomas) Landicho; granddaughter, Carmen; grandson, Gregory; sisters, Theresa Petromallo, Josephine Janus; brothers, Dominic (Dee), Peter (Betty); many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held July 17 at Church of the Nativity, Brockport. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association in his memory.


Carbone, John S., On July 18, 2006. Predeceased by his first wife Irene and son, John S. Survived by his wife, Joan; his children, Margie (Stephen) Shaw, Patrick, Kevin (Rita), Kimberley McAllister; seven grandchild-ren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Jane Nanni; brother, Frank; several nieces and nephews.

Grove, Eugene F. "Geno," On July 19, 2006. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol; children, Thomas (Donna), Donna (Mark) Schroeder, Elaine (Richard) Mann, Patrick, Kathleen (James) Pharoah, Maureen (Marvin) Ackman, Timothy (Susan) and their mother, Marion R. Grove; step-children, Daniel (Carolyn) Scoppa, Kathryn (Daniel) Kewin, Richard and Thomas Scoppa; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Eugene was a member of the Masons, the Chili Volunteer Fire Department and served in the United States Navy.

•Hoffman, Chrystal G., July 1, 2006 at age 88 in Sarasota, Florida, formerly of Brockport. Predeceased by her husband, Fred and son, Kurt. Survived by son, Harvey (Kim); two grandchildren, Kurt and Chrystal of Sarasota; niece, Anne Weiler of Rochester; many other loving nieces and nephews. She was a teacher, homemaker and worked for the Town of Clarkson in many capacities. She was a lifetime member of the Morgan Manning Historical Society and member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Brockport.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. Luke's Episcopal Church later this summer. Donations can be made to the Morgan Manning Historical Society, 151 Main Street, Brockport 14420 in her memory.


Perry, Dr. John Joseph, July 16, 2006, at his home after a brave fight with cancer. He was appointed as an Assistant Professor of English at the State University of New York at Brockport in 1971, and later became an Associate Professor in 1974. From 1976-77 he served as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Nottingham in England. Dr. Perry was appointed as SUNY Brockport's Director of International Education in July of 1981, a position he held until retiring in July of this year. He developed and advised the college's International Business major and during his career several thousands of students participated in his programs. Dr. Perry also served as Dean of Continuing Education from 1986 until 2000. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Rochester Area United Nations Association. He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Shona N. S. Perry; his sons, Tristram (Elizabeth) of Washington, DC, Torquil (Kim) of Pompton Lakes, New Jersey, Timon (Michelle) of London, United Kingdom and his dear granddaughter, Sydney.

A Remembrance Service was held July 21 in Hartwell Theater in Hartwell Hall, SUNY Brockport campus. Memorial Gifts can be made to Brockport College Foundation marked for the "John Perry Fund," SUNY Brockport, 350 New Campus Drive, Brockport, NY 14420.

Marianetti, Dominic G., July 10, 2006. Son of the late Gaetano and Annarale Marianetti. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Ida A. Marianetti; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Victor and Mary Ruscitti. He is survived by his loving children, Dominic Donald Marianetti, Edward (Lorraine) Marianetti, David (Susan) Marianetti, Donna Marianetti Esq. (husband Joseph T. Tallarida II); grandchildren, Lisa (Josh) Eagan of Hamburg, Brian, Lauren and Alex Marianetti; great grandchild, Makayla Grace Eagan; brothers, Pat (Mary) Marianetti of Tennessee, Ralph (Grace) Marianetti, Custie (Mary-Jane) Marianetti, Septimo (Margaret) Marianetti; sister, Agnes Crane; brother-in-law, Phil Randazzo; many other relatives and dear friends. Dominic was the owner of Marianetti Funeral Home in Rochester for over 30 years. He was an Army Air Corps WWII Veteran and was a founding member of the Bojaks.

Gavigan, Fannie G. (Steele), June 24, 2006, age 92 in Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Hilton. Survived by twin sons, Kenneth (Mary) and Kermit (Marjorie) Gavigan; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Wilhelm; 10 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; two great-great granddaughters; sister, Ida Grace Smith; brother-in-law, Gerald Webster Sr.; nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her husband, Warren Gavigan Sr. and son, Warren Jr.

Manchester, Alberta W., July 17, 2006, age 94 in Mt. Morris formerly of Hilton. She was predeceased by her husband, Earl, 1965; and her daughter, Carol, 1988. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Lucinda Manchester. Alberta was a postal clerk in the Hilton Post Office for many years and a member of The Hilton Garden Club.

A private Graveside Service was held at Parma Union Cemetery.


Schultz, Clair E. "Ed," July 11, 2006, at age 80. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Marion; children, Carol (Joel) Horowitz, John (Laurel), Donald (Kristine), Kris (Glynne), Karl; grandchildren, Rachel (Rick) Kluth, Sarah Schultz, Aaron (Toni Walker) Horowitz, Meghan Schultz, Emily Schultz, Anna Schultz, Ellen Schultz, Molly-Lynn Schultz, Hannah Schultz; great-grandchildren, Cameron and Tyler Kluth; brother, Robert Schultz; many nieces and nephews including Bill and Linda Spall. He was the founder of Schultz Associates, Engineers and Land Surveyors; past president of Genesee Valley Land Surveyors Association.

Korn, Gary Paul, Gary's life was taken suddenly by a careless driver July 16, 2006. Survived by his wife of 33 years, Adair (Smith) Korn; daughters, Shea and April; grandson, Isaiah; brothers, Jon (Sue) Korn and Don Goodwin; sister, Gail Noren; sister-in-law, Gail Conley; nieces, Heather Conley and Mia Bleistein; nephews, Joshua Korn and Michael Noren; father and mother-in-law, Chauncey and Reta Smith; aunts, Olga (Fred) Pace and Joyce Korn; many other cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Alex and Mildred Korn.

Pruner, James F., July 17, 2006 after a tragic accident in Murray. Survived by his beloved wife, Linda (Bertoni) Pruner; his mother, Geraldine (Guyette) Pruner; three brothers, Wayne (Amy), Kenneth (Kim) and Steve Pruner; his sister, Ellie (Don) Buzard; mother-in-law, Earlene Bertoni; aunts, Arlene Ward and Lois Zimmer; uncle, Bernie Pruner; many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his father, James Pruner.

Hallinean, Duane Edward, "Chico," Suddenly, Monday, July 17, 2006, at age 56. Predeceased by his twin sister, Dianne Payton and granddaughter, Dianne Marie Hallinean. Survived by his loving wife, Faith; his children, Stacey (Edward) Walworth and Patrick (Heather) Hallinean and grandchildren, Corey and Holly Hallinean; also survived by his brothers-in-law, Alan, William and John Cavuoto and his sister-in-law, Lauren Cavuoto. Duane was an avid Motorcyclist.

Farmer, Gary E., Suddenly July 15, 2006, age 60. He is survived by his wife, Kory (Kimmel) Farmer; his daughter, Rene´ M. Constantine; his mother, Elsie Farmer; four grandchildren, Thomas Angelo, Jessica, James and Jaqueline Constantine; father-in-law, Frank Kimmel; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, nephews, cousins and many friends. Predeceased by his father Delmar E. Farmer.

SPENCERPORT

Bradley, Bonnie Lou, July 16, 2006 at age 65. Predeceased by her parents, Edward L. Brown and Beatrice R. Thousand. Survived by her loving and devoted husband of 35 years, Robert "Sam" Bradley; her step mother, Jean Brown; her siblings, Cheryl (Larry) Barbeto, David (Joan) Brown and Terry (Lee) Brown; sisters-in-law, Goldie (Jim) Herbert and Kay (Al) Miller; brother-in-law, Jim (Flo) Bradley; her beloved nieces and nephews and their children whom Bonnie thought of as her own. Bonnie was a Sunday School Teacher for Wesleyan Spencerport Church for many years.

DiEgidio, Paul Richard, M.D., died suddenly July 17, 2006. Survived by many loving family members including son Nicholas, daughter, Madeleine, Elizabeth Feltner and many friends. He was a noted and beloved physician in the Rochester area since 1989.

Streb, Carolyn V., Age 89, formerly of Perry and Spencerport, died December 30, 2005 at the East Side Nursing Home, Warsaw, NY. In 1940 she married Joseph A. Streb, who died in 1979, and together they owned and operated a dairy farm in Spencerport, where she was active in the Grange, Farm Bureau and was a 4H leader, Mrs. Streb also worked as a financial planner for Cushing Capital in Lockport. She was a member of the Ogden Presbyterian Church. Surviving is her daughter, Kaye (Darwin) Waldsmith of Ninilchik, Alaska; brothers, Floyd Voorhees of Silver Springs, sister, Dorothy (Howard) Parmely of Grattoes, Virginia; her special niece, Jane Voorhees of Perry; two grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held July 23 at the Harmon-Watson Funeral Home, Castile. Interment, Prospect Hill Cemetery, Perry Center, NY. Contributions can be made to the charity of one's choice in her memory.


•Vincent, George S., July 17, 2006 at age 84. Predeceased by his wife of 59 years Katherine Anne Vincent, parents Eden and Rose Vincent, daughter Virginia Keenan and his brother James E. Vincent. Survived by his daughter Victoria (Harry) DeWald; beloved grandchildren David A., James E. (Christie Lundgren) and Suzanne DeWald, James V. (Gia Petri), Greg P. and Jack M. Keenan; son-in-law James Keenan; sister-in-law Monica McKinney and Mary Morgan; brother-in-law Bernard Voorheis; many special nieces and nephews. George was a lifelong resident of Spencerport, served as a Village Trustee for 26 years, retired as a Vice President of Marine Midland Bank after 42 years of service and a founding member of the Spencerport Lions Club.
