Ranger Baseball Campers learn from Red Wing Pitcher

Beau Kemp, a pitcher used in middle-inning relief for the Rochester Red Wings, visited the Rangers' Baseball Camp on Friday, July 21. He spoke to players about his career in sports, why he chose baseball, and shared secrets to his success. Camp participants asked his advice on game strategy and personal training habits. Spencerport Rangers Varsity Baseball Coach Craig Bodensteiner and camp instructor Matt Leahy, the bullpen catcher for the Rochester Red Wings, invited Kemp to camp. Attendance at camp is up considerably from last year with 70 players in camp the first week and 77 expected for the final week. Kemp is shown (left) with Bodensteiner. Submitted photos.
