Advisory committee members needed in Riga

According to Riga officials, the following volunteer opportunities exist.

•There is an opening on the Advisory Committee to study the Sanford Road South Recreation Facility.

•There are two openings on the Advisory Committee to study Wind Energy Deriving Towers.

•There are openings on the Recreation Committee for one (1) adult member and one (1) Youth Representative (age 14 and older). Each Recreation Committee person is for a three year term and meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month.

•Other Advisory Committees will be appointed on an ongoing basis, as the need arises.

Anyone interested in volunteering to serve as a committee member on the above committees, or future committees, should send a letter of interest and/or resume to: Town Supervisor, Town of Riga, 6460 Buffalo Road, Churchville, New York 14428.
