Larnder, William H. Sr., 78, of Birdsall, died July 9, 2006 at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Buffalo. He is survived by a son, William H. (Tonya M.) Larnder Jr. of North Carolina; four grandchildren, William D., Terry A., Tonya M. and Brandy A. Larnder; one sister, Winifred (Robert) Keating; and several nieces and nephews; dear friend, Myra Swan. He was predeceased by brothers John, Richard, Edward, Charles and Arthur.

Funeral Services were private.

Klotzbach, Frances L., Age 84, August 4, 2006. Predeceased by husband, Lorne in 2000. Survived by children, Beverly (James) Gouger of Hamlin, Rhoda (Richard) Nicholson of Albion, Lewis (Quyen) Klotzbach of Hamlin, Michael (Pamela) Klotzbach of New Mexico; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; siblings, Greta (Anthony) Accurso of West Seneca, Esther (Norman) Fay of Avon, Danny Hinds of Florida, Beverly (Larry) Mitchell of Waldorf, Maryland, Walter (Linda) Hinds of Coppercascove, Texas; sisters-in-law, Evelyn (Bob) Hinds of Dansville and Martha (George) Hinds of Florida; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services were held August 8 at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., Holley. Interment, Transit Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Hospice of Monroe County in her memory.


BARRE

Jenkins, Deacon Harrison "Harry," 63, died August 3, 2006 after a long illness. He was a Kodak employee for over 20 years before retiring in 2004. Harry was a member of the Masons Community Lodge #7 of Medina and St. Paul Baptist Church where he served on the Deacon's Board. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Claudia; four daughters, Debra Harrison of Rochester, Angela L. Jenkins of Rochester, Dianna T. (Jimmy) Sloan of Arkansas, Claudette Jenkins of Albion; 10 grandchildren; one great grandchild; four brothers, Calvin (Nora) Jenkins, Charlie (Thelma) Jenkins, Gilbert White all of Florida, Freddie White of Virginia; sister, Kelsia Mae (Roland) Smith of Florida; nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by a daughter, Kelsia Mae Jenkins, and a brother, Otis Jenkins.

Funeral Services were held August 12 at Northside Church of Christ, Rochester. Interment, Mt. Albion Cemetery.


BERGEN

King, Fred L., August 5, 2006, at age 84. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Janet; his son, William (Bonnie) of Florida; his daughter, Sharon Hurley of Rochester; brother Stewart; grandchildren, Barbara King, Kristin and Robert Hurley; and nieces and nephews. Fred was a veteran of WWII.

A Graveside Service was held August 8 at St. Brigid's Cemetery, Bergen. Contributions can be made to American Diabetes Association, Buffalo Office, 315 Alberta Drive, Amherst, NY 14226 in his memory.


BROCKPORT

Way, Marion E., On August 4, 2006, age 89. Predeceased by her husband Howard A. Survived by her children Barbara (Carl) Sherwood, Joyce D'Angiolillo, Alan (Mary), David (Barbara), Ronald (Laurel); 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service was held August 11 at the First Baptist Church, Brockport. Interment at the convenience of the family. Contributions can be made to the First Baptist Church in Brockport or the Lakeside-Beikirch Care Center in her memory.


CHURCHVILLE

Horton, June Marie, August 4, 2006. Predeceased by her husband, Norman and brothers and sisters, Ronnie, Ray and Wayne Burlingame, Joyce Frisby. Survived by her son, Ronald (Carrie); daughter, Bonnie (Dann) Gustavson; grandchildren, Kristen, Amy, David, Douglas and Jamie; four great grandchildren; brother, David (Eleanor) Burlingame. June was church director at the Union Congregational United Church of Christ for 32 years and Rochester Church Women's United Choir for 20 years.

A Celebration of her Life will be held Saturday, September 9 at 2 p.m. at the Union Congregational United Church of Christ, North Main Street, Churchville. Contributions can be made to the music department at U.C.C. or Generations, 230 Coldwater Road, Rochester 14624 in her memory.

Mahoney, Dennis C., On August 6, 2006. He is survived by his wife, Karen; two daughters, Sonja (Michael) Reitter and Marie Landers; three sisters, Janice Mahoney, Alice (Tony) Chiarmonte, Deborah (Joseph D.) Artiglere; granddaughter, Jennifer; several nieces and nephews. Dennis was a professional engineer and was licensed in several states. SEMPAI of Hilton Dojo Kyokoshin Karate.

Smith, Linda L. (Stevens), August 3, 2006. Predeceased by husband, Walter; brothers, Edward and Erwin; sister, Helen. She is survived by her children, Bonnie (Thomas) Loughlin, Kevin (Jean Schmidt) and Rick Smith; her grandchildren, Rebecca, Kristina and Thomas Jr. Loughlin, Christopher and Danielle Smith; dear friend, William Carter; brother, Donald (Mary) Stevens; sisters, Betty Friday and Gladys (Tom) Carter; sister-in-law Doris Avel.

Survived by his wife Marion (Naas) Betteridge; two daughters, Carol (Robert) Vann of Trumansburg and Donna (Claude) Burkett of Oakfield; three brothers, Richard (Doris) Betteridge of Churchville, Gerald (Bernice) Betteridge of South Carolina and Ronald (Janet) Betteridge of Greece; three grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Azzolina, Gary J. "Big G," August 6, 2006 at age 53, after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Karen A. Azzolina; adoring children Michael (Susan Rowe) Azzolina, Lindsay Azzolina; sister Gail (Steve) Martin; mother and father-in-law, Irene and Bob DeRoo; sisters-in-law, Sharon Azzolina and Barb (Bob) LoPresti, brothers-in-law, Bob (Sue) DeRoo, Brian (Julie) DeRoo; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear close friends. He was a 29 year employee of Ogden Telephone and presently employed with American Fiber Systems. Gary was predeceased by his parents Tom and Rose Azzolina; brother Bob Azzolina and best friends Jim Hefner and Bob Deyager.

A Funeral Mass was said August 10 at St. John's Church, Spencerport. Interment, St. John's Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Mt. Carmel House or Humane Society at Lollypop Farm in his memory.


Tranello, Debbie J. (Houston), On August 2, 2006 at age 49 after a courageous battle with cancer. Survived by her daughter, Rachel Tranello; parents, Claud and Betty Houston; brother Jeff (Donna) Houston; ex-husband, Daniel Tranello. Debbie graduated from SUNY Brockport with honors; employee of Davie, Kaplan, Chapman and Braverman and long-time employee of Schnabel Auto Parts.

A Memorial Service was held August 5 at Bartolomeo & Perotto Funeral Home, Greece.
