Students learn culinary secrets at camp

Students from the nine component districts as well as private schools participated in the BOCES 2 Culinary Camp to learn more about Culinary Arts from visiting chefs from RIT, Wegmans and local restaurants. The students made sauces, French onion soup, casseroles, chicken tetrazzini, beef stroganoff and other dishes for their parents' enjoyment on the last day of camp. BOCES 2 Culinary Arts Teacher Chef Kevin Bedard supervised the camp, invited guest chefs to share their knowledge and expertise and also instructed students. Here, visiting Chef Warren Sackler from RIT guides Kristina Roberts (left) and Angelle Martin in making beef stroganoff. Submitted photo.
