•Ladd, Harold D. Jr., Died on August 8, 2006 in Hacienda Heights, California at age 56. Born in Brockport. Predeceased by his father, Harold Ladd Sr., Survived by his wife, Darla; children, Timothy, Mark and Krystal; mother, Jean Page; sisters, Lavina, Dolores and Elaine; brothers, Richard, Steven, Anthony and Jeff.

A private Memorial Service was held at the convenience of the family.


ALBION

•Rowley, Lillian A., died August 14, 2006 at Orleans County Nursing Home, a lifetime resident of the area. She drove buses for the Kendall Schools, CATS and also Head Start. She is predeceased by husband Albert in 1981. She is survived by her children, Barbara Zumsteg of Ohio, Marilyn (Robert) Owens of Albion, Pamela (Leon) Baxter of Holley, Gary (Patricia) Rowley of Albion, Donna (John) Waugh of Pennsylvania, Judy (Mark) Kennedy of Kent, Richard (Rae) Rowley of North Tonawanda, Terry Rowley of Fancher, Deanna Rowley of Kendall, Todd Rowley of Hulberton; 20 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Irving (Velma) Banker of Albion, Roger (Fran) Banker of Nunda; three sisters, Grace (Wayne) Meiser of Florida, Louise Apps of Minnesota, Hope Telovsky of Albion; many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by grandchildren, Amber, Zachery, Kurtis; sisters, Eunice Rushbrook, Phyllis Banker.

Funeral Services were held August 17 at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, Albion. Interment, Sandy Creek Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Orleans County Nursing Home Activities Fund or to a charity of one's choice in her memory.


HILTON

•Floyd, Karen L. (Mullen), Peacefully, August 12, 2006, age 49. She is survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Floyd; her sons, Bennett and James Floyd; her father and his wife, James Mullen and Saralynn; her brother, Glenn (Janna) Mullen; father and mother-in-law, Robert and Ruth Floyd; several aunts and uncles, many cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her mom, Ellie Mullen, 1987.

A Service celebrating her life was held August 17 at Hilton Baptist Church. Contributions can be made to the S. Edelman-H. Gardner C.R.F. or James P. Wilmot Cancer Center in her memory.


•Foehner, Fallon Elizabeth, Suddenly, August 12, 2006, age 7 months. Beloved daughter of Robert G. and Gretchen A. (Datz) Foehner. Also survived by her sister, Farrah Mae; maternal grandparents, Ramon and Barbara Datz; paternal grandparents, George Foehner and Pamela McCue; great grandmothers, Neva Foehner and Florence Cook; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Funeral Mass was said August 16 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Hamlin. Interment, Parma Union Cemetery. Contributions can be made to CURE Childhood Cancer Association, 200 Westfall Road, Rochester 14620 or Lakeside Foundation, 170 West Avenue, Brockport 14420 in her memory.


•Panarites, Nicholas "Nick," August 5, 2006, age 89. He was predeceased by his parents, Kosmos and Mary; sister, Kula; brother and sister-in-law, James and Evelyn; and brothers-in-law, Albert Cosman and Peter Pataccoli. He is survived by his sisters, Ethel Cosman and Connie Pataccoli; brother, Manny (Mary) Panarites; nieces, Linda (Rick) Sweeting and Marlane (Tom) Boyle; nephew, Steve (Jane) Panarites; grandniece, Nicole Thibeault; several cousins and many friends in Hilton. Nick was the proprietor of the family owned Hilton Candy Kitchen. Following the family tradition, Nick made his own candy and ice cream, including his famous "Alpine Strawberry" and "Tutti-Frutti." A proud veteran who served in the US Army during WWII from 1940-45 with Battery D of the 209th Coast Artillery. He was also a member of Hiscock-Fishbaugh American Legion Post, Hilton Odd Fellows and Clio Lodge #779 F.&A.M.

As per Nick's wishes no public calling or services were held. A Family Graveside Service was held at the Panarites Family Plot, Parma Union Cemetery. Contri-butions can be made to The Nature Conservancy, Central and Western NY Chapter, 1048 University Avenue, Rochester, NY 14607 or a Hilton organization of one's choice in his memory.


SPENCERPORT

•Dasher, Aleta Mary (Kendall) "Kennie," August 12, 2006, at age 92. She was employed by J. C. Penney of Medina, for 23 years as senior clerk and later by F.M.C. of Middleport for three years. Predeceased by her late husbands, James Smith of Amsterdam, NY, Howard Preston of Brockport and Richard Dasher of Buffalo. Survived by her sister Aileen K. Stillwell of Medina; niece Charlene M. Stillwell of Albion; three stepchildren and 10 step-grandchildren. Kennie loved to travel. She traveled to 48 of the 50 states, Mexico, England, eight European countries and every Province in Canada. Aleta was a Life Member of the Medina Methodist Church and an attendee of the Free Methodist Church in Brockport.

Funeral Services were held August 15 at Walker Brothers Co. Funeral Home Inc., Spencerport. Private interment. Donations can be made to Spencerport Volunteer Ambulance or Ogden Senior Center in her memory.


•Franck, Ann O. (Outhouse), Suddenly, August 9, 2006, at age 75. She is survived by her children Dennis (Linda) Franck, Deborah (John) Lewis and Douglas (Joy) Franck; grandchildren, Daniel, Matthew, Mandy, Eddie, Tim and Kelly; siblings Helen (Harold) Koch, Donald (Virginia), James (Elaine), Earl (Ruth), Paul (Peggy), Roy (Donna), Elton (Barbara) Outhouse; sisters-in-law, Ethelda and Margaret Outhouse; numerous nieces and nephews. Ann was predeceased by her husband, David H. Franck, parents, Gordon and Marguerite Outhouse, brothers, Richard, Charles and Laverne Outhouse.

A Memorial Service was held August 13 at Walker Brothers Co. Funeral Home, Inc., Spencerport. Inter-ment, Parma Corners Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Sweden Senior Center in her memory.


•McKinney, Monica M. (Morgan) "Monie", August 13, 2006 at age 88. Predeceased by her husband of 64 years George V. McKinney, D.V.M.; parents Joseph and Ellen Morgan; and her siblings Joseph Morgan Jr., Bernard Morgan, Katherine Anne Vincent and Martha Voorheis. Survived by her son Ralph (Barbara) McKinney; grandchildren Cody (Ellie) McKinney and Rachel (Peter) Neels; great grandchildren Weber and Monica Neels, all from Plymouth, Minnesota; many nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends. Monica graduated from Nazareth Academy High School in 1935, then from St. Mary's Nursing School with her RN in 1937. She was a Lifelong Member of St. John the Evangelist Church of Spencerport and a member of their Altar Guild and Ladies Honor Guard; a 3-year member of St. Christopher's Church in North Chili; and a 50-year member of the Spencerport Pedro Card Club.

A Funeral Mass was said August 18 at St. John's Church, Spencerport. Interment, St. John's Cemetery. Contributions can be made to St. Joseph's Indian School, Chamberlain, South Dakota 57326 or a charity for the Homeless in her memory.
