Gerald W. Rogers of Hamlin received the Douglas P. Fay Award during the spring semester Honors Day ceremonies at the University of Vermont. Rogers, a student in the College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences, received the award, which is given for a student who has made the greatest contribution to the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering during the past year.


Andrew Decker of Spencerport has been named to the SUNY Cobleskill dean's list for the spring 2006 semester. To be named to the dean's list, a student must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or more. He is the son of Pete and Sue Decker and graduated from Spencerport High School in 2005.


Nicholas Earnhart scored a perfect 4.0 and received dean's list and semester honors for the summer 2006 semester at Purdue University. Earnhart is a senior majoring in mechanical engineering and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Earnhart of Hilton.

This fall, he will be a resident advisor for Tarkington Hall and plans to graduate in May of 2007.


Adam T. Weatherbee graduated from Army ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) Leader's Training Course at Fort Knox, Kentucky.

The cadet is a student at Canisius College, Buffalo. He is the son of Timothy E. and Deborah R. Weatherbee of Bergen. Weatherbee is a 2004 graduate of Byron-Bergen High School.
