Legislator recognized for support of agriculture

The New York Farm Bureau has named Senator George Maziarz (62nd District) a member of the organization's "Circle of Friends."

"The 'Circle of Friends' award is based upon each legislator's voting record on issues of importance to New York agriculture and other evidence of legislative support, including sponsorship of bills that Farm Bureau has either supported, or opposed," stated John Lincoln, New York Farm Bureau president. Maziarz has received the award on several occasions in previous years.
