•Parlato, Sandra J. On September 3, 2006 at the age of 66. She is predeceased by her parents, Charles and Margaret Townsend; children, Susan, Richard and Stephen; mother-in-law, Edith Parlato. Survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Sandy; children, Stephanie (Ray) Fournier, Kathryn (Mark) Munpton, Vicki (Rob) Lallier, Sandy Jr. (Sue), Sarla (Leonard) Romero; 11 grandchildren; father-in-law, Fred Parlato Sr.; sister-in-law, Donna (Ben) Rust; brothers-in-law, Fred (Margie), Anthony, Michael and Richard; several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services were held September 9 at the Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., Brockport. Interment, private. Contributions can be made to School of the Holy Childhood in her memory.


BERGEN

Hay, Eleanor G., 86, died August 31, 2006. Wife of the late Herbert; mother of Kenneth (Melinda) Hay and Carol (Gary) Zimmer; grandmother of Cathy Lynn and Brian (Colleen) Zimmer and Meagan (Josh) Eckstein; sister of the late Robert Pocock and Marian Huber.

Funeral Services were held September 4 at the Bergen United Methodist Church. Contributions can be made to the church or Lakeside Beikirch Nursing Home, Brockport in her memory.


BROCKPORT

Blossom, Howard R., September 4, 2006, age 89. He is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Elizabeth "Betty" (Quinn) Blossom; three daughters, Sheila (Robert) Reynolds, Barbara (David) VanHerreweghe, Valerie (Donald) Krieg; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Howard was the 12th of 22 children born to Morris and Deltha (Secor) Blossom.

A Memorial Service was held September 8 at First Baptist Church of Brockport. Interment, Lake View Cemetery. Donations can be made to SOFT (Support Organization for Trisomy 18), 2982 South Union Street, Rochester, NY 14624 in his memory.


Glynn, Genevieve E., On September 5, 2006. Predeceased by her parents, William and Mary (Beachel) Glynn; sister, Mary (Wendell) Sweeting; brothers, William and James Glynn. She is survived by her sister, Helen Glynn; brother, George Glynn; niece, Kathy (George) Krein; nephews, William (Ruth Anne) Glynn, James (Ellen) Sweeting and William (Ann) Sweeting; many great and great-great nieces and nephews. She is a Brockport State University retiree.

A Memorial Mass at Nativity Church BVM, Brockport will be held at a later date. Contributions can be made to Lakeside Beikirch Care Center or Lifetime Care Hospice in her memory.


Lana, Carl D., On September 5, 2006 at the age of 84. Predeceased by his parents, Frank and Phoebe; sister, Grace Anderson; brother, Anthony Lana. Survived by his sisters, Rose and Josephine Lana; nephews, Robert (Monica), Richard (Sue) Anderson, Michael Lana, Gary (Bonnie) Callahan; nieces, Trace (James) Lasal, Dorothy (Richard) Romagnolo; great nieces, Cara (Tim) Malone, Becky Anderson; great nephew, Douglas (Georgeann) Anderson.

A Funeral Mass was said September 9 at the Church of the Nativity BVM, Brockport. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the American Heart Association in his memory.


Stephany, Edward O., Ph.D, Lt. Col. (USMCR) On September 2, 2006. Predeceased by his parents, sister, Ruth Curtis, and son-in-law M. Thomas Mahon. Survived by his wife of 65 years, Arline; daughter Ann Marie Mahon; grandchildren Marshall, Samantha, Matthew and Jason Mahon; loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Dr. Stephany was a Professor of Mathematics at SUNY Brockport for 33 years, served 5 years active duty with the U.S. Marines during WWII in the Pacific, and then retired to the Marine Reserves.

A Funeral Mass was said September 8 at the Church of the Nativity, BVM, Brockport. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Edward O. Stephany Scholarship Fund, SUNY Brockport, in his memory.


CHURCHVILLE

•Davis, Robert L., August 28, 2006, at age 83. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Marion Davis, daughter Linda Anderson. Survived by his wife of 61 years Shirley E. Davis; son Neil R. Davis; daughter Randi (Bob) Resides; grandchildren, Erik, Matthew, Andrew, James and Jonathan; great-grandson Robert John; several nieces and nephews.

Services and interment were held at the convenience of the family. Contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice in his memory.


•Naughton, Michael J., September 3, 2006, at age 80. Born in Athlone, County Roscommon, Ireland in 1926. Immigrated to the states in 1952. Mike was for more than three decades a Rochester-area plastering contractor, Daly & Naughton, and for the past 30 years proprietor with wife Peggy of The Johnson House restaurant in Churchville.

He leaves a large and loving family. Survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 52 years, Peggy (Waters) Naughton. Adored father of eight children, Peggy (Tom) O'Callaghan of Chili, Kevin (Elaine) Naughton of Ogden, Michael Jr. (Peggi) Naughton of Norwood, Massachusetts, James (Susan) Naughton of Yakima, Washington, John (Wendy) Naughton of Austin, Texas, Mary Murray of Spencerport, Eileen (Bob) Merberg of Fairport, Patrick (Kathleen) Naughton of Seattle, Washington. Grandfather to nineteen lights of his life, Tommy, Katie, Jeff, Maura, Conor, Brienna, Devin, Hannah, Lily, Fiona, Haley, Aurora, Amy, Meaghan, Kiera, Oren, Maya, Jackson and Cooper. Brother of Sr. Genevieve, Sr. Margaret, Sr. Hannah, Lily, and Malachy and brother-in-law Don (Charlene) Waters. Predeceased by his siblings Mary, Edward, Kieran and Tom. Also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and grandnieces and nephews in the United States and Ireland.

A Mass of Christian Burial was said September 7 at St. Vincent DePaul Church, Churchville. Interment St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery. Donations can be made to cancer research in his memory.


CLARENDON

•Buck, William C., Sr. "Bill", 59, died September 1, 2006 at Lakeside Memorial Hospital. William was a U.S. Army veteran serving from 1966-1969 and was employed with Kodak for 12-13 years; most recently working with Lifetime Assistance, Inc. as a driver. He is survived by his father, Gilbert Buck; two children William "Billy" (Doreen) Buck Jr. of Clarendon and Jennifer (John) Cannizzaro of Albion; six grandchildren, Julia, Jordan, Jimmy, Morgan, Zack and Felicia; and many friends.

Funeral Services were held September 5 at Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, Holley. Interment, Mt. Albion Cemetery with full military honors. Contributions can be made to Clarendon Fire Company in his memory.

•Mastrodonato, Mary (Taddeo), September 6, 2006. Predeceased by her husband, James Mastrodonato. Survived by her sons, James (Kathy) and Frank (Pam) Mastrodonato; grandchildren, Amber, Gina, James, Rachel, Cody, Emma and Ethan; great-grandson, Anthony; sisters and brother, Josephine Taddeo, John (Mary) Taddeo and Dolores Taddeo; several nieces and nephews.

•Banister, Erma L., On August 28, 2006, age 95. Predeceased by her husband, Nathan; three brothers. Survived by her children, Dwight, Paul (Trina), Marion Morris, Alura (David) Kogo; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Teresa) Burden; several nieces and nephews.

•Yellitz, Peter P., Hudson, Florida, formerly of Kendall. August 26, 2006, age 91. Predeceased by wife Alice, great-granddaughter Leah McFarlane, son-in-law Richard Phillips, brothers and sisters. Survived by daughters, Florence (Lyle) Crispell of Florida, Barbara (Howard) Kitchen of Buffalo, Sandra Phillips of Clarkson; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

•Cameron, Josephine M. (Gallo), September 5, 2006, age 69. Predeceased by her parents, Gerlando and Maria Gallo. She is survived by her beloved husband, William Cameron; children, Cindy Kleisle, Kelly Kawyn, Pamela Scally, Scott Cameron; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four sisters.

A Funeral Mass was said September 9 at St. John the Evangelist Church of Spencerport. Private interment in Alexandria Bay, New York.

•Williams, Ronald "Dutch", August 31, 2006, age 63, surrounded by his loving family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Patricia (Voelkl) Williams; his son and daughter-in-law, Rob and Laurie Williams; grandchildren, Emilie and Evan; mother-in-law, Eleanor Voelkl; brother-in-law, Earl (Judy) Voelkl; several Foster Siblings; many nieces, nephews, Godchildren and friends. Dutch was owner of Williams & Son Heating Contractors Inc. He was Past Chief of North Greece Fire Department and a current Fire Commissioner.
