Blue Devils fall to Spartans

Brockport won their first singles and first doubles matches, but dropped a 4-3 decision to Gates Chili in girl's tennis.

Junior Calder Mills-Lexvold, in her second year as the top singles player for Brockport, won her match in straight sets 6-1, 6-4.

Freshman Mallory Warner, in her first season with the varsity, came back after dropping her first set 3-6, to win 6-3, 6-3 at third singles.

The new doubles team of junior Emma VanDenburg with sophomore MacKenzie LoMonaco swept their first-doubles match 6-0. 6-4. The duo had not lost a set through the first four matches this season.

Brockport fell to 0-2 league, 0-4 overall with the loss.
