Kendall receives grant

The Town of Kendall was awarded a $15,000 grant to fund the purchase and installation of an emergency generator system for the town hall. The equipment will provide for the needs at the town hall during emergency situations and for shelter requirements, according to Kendall Supervisor William Vick.

The grant was secured for the town by New York State Senator George D. Maziarz and Assemblyman Stephen Hawley.

Note: A letter printed in the October 15 issues incorrectly stated the grant amount.
