Election results tabulated for the area
Voters made their choices known in the recent
town elections across the area on November 7.

Monroe County
In Clarkson, Christopher Wilcox retained his seat as town judge against challenger Samantha Golden. Wilcox received 1,236 votes, Golden, 581. The Town of Clarkson council seat was retained by Patrick Didas, who received 1,057 votes, while challenger Sheldon Meyers garnered 777.

In the Town of Parma, Donna Curry ran unopposed for the town clerk seat to which she had been appointed earlier this year. She received 3,012 votes.

For the town council seat, political newcomer Joseph Rittler picked up 2,212 votes, defeating incumbent James M. Smith, who garnered 2,192 votes. Absentee ballots in the town have not been tabulated yet.

In Riga, Councilman David Smith received 1,393 votes in his uncontested bid to retain his seat.

Orleans County
In the Town of Kendall, Donald Pritchard, who ran unopposed for the town council seat, received 581 votes.
