Brockport Toy Shelf seeks donations

The Brockport Toy Shelf provides toys to local children, from newborn to age seventeen, each Christmas. Last year more than 600 children received toys, hats, mittens and books. This year the Toy Shelf is seeking new items, especially for the older kids; CD's, CD players, sports equipment, hats and gloves.

Items can be dropped off at Wegmans, Brockport Village Office, First Niagara Bank, Ryan's Big M, Dollar General, Rite Aid and State Farm Insurance (downtown location). Contribution to the Gift Angel program at Lift Bridge Bookshop, Main Street, Brockport can also be made.

Donations are needed prior to December 16.

Mail financial donations to: Charlene Veltz, 12 Glendale Road, Brockport, NY 14420. Checks should be made payable to the Brockport Toy Shelf.

Anyone in need of gifts should call 395-0969 or 352-5915.
