Kendall junior Josh Grolling was accepted to the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) All State Band that performed November 18 at North Rose Wolcott High School. This is the third year Grolling has been chosen to participate in the All State Band, which includes a select group of students from around New York state. Students practiced together for two days with a conductor, then performed a concert. He played the stand-up bass, but is also adept at the violin, guitar and piano. He enjoys playing and singing a wide variety of music, and said he may study music producing and recording in college. December 10, 2006 |
