Hilton students attend Harvard conference

Nine members of the Hilton Model United Nations Club attended the Harvard Model UN Conference from December 7-10 where they participated in six different committees attempting to solve real world problems, according to Hilton MUN Advisor and Social Studies Teacher Kim Saxton. "One day was spent at Harvard University where some committees heard lectures from Harvard professors," she said. "Students were involved in identifying current problems and drafting resolutions to solve these problems." Participants were: Mark Ramzy, Josh Reichardt, Jim Walters, Karen Harmon, Mike Cordon, Greg Fletcher, Ben McCracken, Kat Jackson and Sarah Clauser. Accompanying students were MUN advisors and social studies teachers Saxton and Jen Monfiletto.
