Churchville-Chili board names interim superintendent

The Churchville-Chili Board of Education appointed Phillip W. Langton to the position of Interim Superintendent of Schools, effective January 10.

Langton has more than 36 years experience in education, 30 of those years being in administration. Most recently, Langton served the Spencerport Central School District as Superintendent of Schools from 2000-2005; and previously held the same position at Manchester-Shortsville Central School District in Shortsville, NY for eight years. Langton holds a number of New York State certifications, including School District Administration and School Administrator Supervision.

Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES (Board of Cooperative Educational Services) has been asked by the board of education to assist in their search for a permanent superintendent.
