Hilton School District offers new courses
in Community Education Program

The Hilton School District's Community Education (formerly Continuing Education) Program has instituted 12 new courses along with favorites such as Ballroom Dancing, One-Stroke Painting, Aquafit Water Aerobics and Photoshop/Digital Imaging according to Director Barbara Carder. "We are excited about the new courses this semester," she said, "including Personal Trainer/Strength and Cardio, expanded Kayaking courses in the Aquatic Center, Quitting Smoking, Traveling a Spiritual Journey, Scrapbooking and a number of finance and investment courses."

Hilton Community Education offers courses to all interested persons. There is no extra fee for out-of-district residents. A GAP or "Golden Age Pass," for those Hilton District residents age 55 and above, offers free and discounted registration fees. Registration is ongoing and takes place by mail.

A catalogue was mailed to district residents and is available at libraries. The course catalogue, registration forms and course reservation forms are online at www.hilton.k12.ny.us. For information call 392-1000 ext. 2408.
