Holley Sports Booster and Patriots
Winter Color Guard to perform

On January 27, the Holley Sports Boosters and The Rochester Patriots Winter Color Guard will host a Northeast Color Guard Circuit Competition at Holley High School.

Combining theater, dance and the joy of performance, with the cornerstone of equipment spinning and flying through the air, this new entity filled a large void in the schools as cutbacks in music and the arts left many students unfulfilled. Supportive parents aided in the funding of this growing beautiful activity. Students thrived and grew from the experience, and WGI continues today to lead the growth and fulfill the potential of this unique art form. The Color Guard Division is the foundation of WGI Sport of the Arts that was founded in 1978.

Each guard is judged by a professionally trained panel of six judges on a possible score of 100. Trophies are awarded.

Also performing in exhibition will be a dance group from the Rochester Patriots.

Competition begins at 5 p.m. Doors open at 4 p.m. Admission is $5, tickets are available at the door. For information, call 638-8922.
