•Harradine, Gerald E., of Ontario, formerly of Spencerport, died January 12, 2007, at age 83. Survived by his wife, Margaret of 61 years; children Randall (Deborah) Harradine, Mary F. (Ronald) Grice-Cockrell; grandchildren, Michelle (Jay) Petrie, Matthew Harradine, Stephanie Grice; great-grandchildren, Kylah, Joshua, Olivia; and his three nieces. Gerald is an Army Veteran of WWII and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He retired from Delco after more than 30 years.

A Funeral Mass was said January 17 at St. Mary's of the Lake Church.


•Rapp, Megan E., January 10, 2007. Survived by her loving parents, Jeffrey and Margaret Rapp; grandparents, Warren and Linda Rapp, Leonard and Marilyn Hryhorenko; great-grandparents, Lois Mudge and Josephine Andrews; aunts, uncles and cousins.

BERGEN

Stone, Francis T. "Chico," Age 78, died January 17, 2007 in the New York State Veterans Home in Batavia, where he was a resident for the past year. Mr. Stone is survived by his wife of 52 years, Verley Rose Stone of Bergen; two daughters, Cathy (Thomas) Callahan, Nancy (Dennis) Bachulak, both of LeRoy; three brothers, Leo (Josephine) Stone, John Stone, both of Batavia, Donald Stone of Florida; sister, Rita Madalena of Rochester; sister-in-law, Katy Stone of LeRoy; two granddaughters, Sarah and Rebecca; and several nieces and nephews; brother of the late Alfred Stone, Nina Guidici, Rose Shortino, Helen Merola. Mr. Stone was employed as a Sales Manager for the Eaton Yale & Towne Company in Batavia and retired in 1991. He was a member of St. Peter's Church in LeRoy, Knights of Columbus, American Legion Post #576.

A Mass of Christian Burial was said January 20 at St. Peter's Church, LeRoy. Entombment in St. Joseph's Mausoleum. Memorials can be made to the New York State Veterans Home, 220 Richmond Avenue, Batavia, NY 14020, Erie Cottage Unit.


BROCKPORT

Peake, Arthur, H. Jr., January 11, 2007. Predeceased by his sister, Mildred Tiberio. He is sur-vived by his loving wife, Mary; children, Lillian Charette, Steve (Karen), Jerry (Carolyn), Chris (Maureen), Dale (Susan), and Laurie (Don) Peake-Meyering; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchil-dren; sisters, Janet (Charles) Clark, Betty (Tex) Avolin; several nieces and nephews. He was a lifetime member of the B.P.O. Elks Lodge 2110. Past G.E.R.D.D., S.V.P. and E.R.

A Memorial Service was held January 20 at the Spencerport Wesleyan Church, Spencerport. Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.

Sherman, Gerald E., January 11, 2007 at age 64. Predeceased by his parents, Earl and Emma Sherman and his sister Joyce Bertini. Survived by his beloved children, Daniel, Karen and Robert (Mary Kay) Sherman; former wife Nancy and dearest friend Linda Oakley; brother Gil (Sally) Sherman; niece Kathy (Paul) Besaw; five grandchildren; several other nieces and nephews and friend, Bill W.

HAMLIN

Rodas, Eugene "Gene," 73, of Dunedin, Florida, died December 31, 2006 at Mease-Dunedin Hospital. He moved to Florida in 1969 from his native Hamlin. Gene was a retired carpenter, Army veteran serving in Korea and enjoyed playing golf. Survivors include his wife of 53 years Irene (Graupman); two daughters Wanda Stophel, Dunedin, Florida and Donna (Tom) Wiggins, Clearwater, Florida; granddaughter, Stephanie Stophel; sisters Esther (James) Clark, Rochester and Eileen Wilmot, Pittsford; brother-in-law, Gerald Graupman.

Geisler, Edmund F., January 11, 2007, age 85. He is survived by his children, Deborah (John) Buckner, Van (Nancy) Geisler; Wanda Geiseler, mother of his children; his grandchildren, Starann (Christopher) Dowling, Traci (Chad) Fagan, Tina (Scott) Ingham; three great-grandchildren, Ashlee, Arik and Alana; his sisters, Rita (LaVerne) Jackson, Lillian Blake, Florence Dunn and Mary Andre; many nieces and nephews. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a Kodak retiree.

A Funeral Mass was said January 16 at St. Leo Church. Private interment, Parma Union Church. Those wishing can contribute to American Lung Association in his memory.

Joseph, Lucie R., (Papagni), January 12, 2007. Predeceased by her children, Anthony Joseph, Lucie Joseph and Thomas Aquinas Joseph. She is survived by her husband, Al Joseph; children, Alfred (Bette) Joseph, Emily Joseph, Beth Joseph, Barbara (Mike) Mattern, Bart (Becky) Joseph and Ray Joseph; daughter-in-law, Shelley Joseph; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters and brother, Grace Papagni, Jack Papagni, Connie (Arthur) Giacalone and Bella Cristo; several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated January 20 at St. John the Evangelist Church, Greece. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.


Jurhs, Jane D., Age 72, died peacefully in her home, January 13, 2007. Predeceased by her husband Victor Jurhs. Survived by her sons, Steve Jurhs, Tim (Lisa) Jurhs; daughters, Sandra (Daniel) Gaesser, Laurie (Jim) Freeman; grandchildren: Lindsay, Corey, Shawn, Jennifer, Peter, Olivia, Ava, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Cassin, Michael J. "Mike," January 16, 2007 at age 75. Survived by his wife of 52 years Mary Lu (Doyle) Cassin; children, John (Sandra), James and Gerald Cassin; grandson, Brian; sisters-in-law, Noreen (Walter) Tymkin and Sharon Diehl; nephews, Keith Tymkin and Robert Diehl; niece, Mary Beth Tymkin; several cousins from Corning, NY. Mike was an Exempt Fire Fighter from Greece Ridge and Henrietta Fire Districts.

Hoy, James L., January 9, 2007, at age 83. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Cleo Hoy; daughters, Leslie Kish and Marie (Jerry) Bueche; granddaughters Katie (Michael Knorr) Norwood, Shelley Bueche, Carrie Bueche; cousins and good friends.
