Basketball and Blues team up
at Genesee Community College

As part of its 40th anniversary celebrations, Genesee Community College is planning two events on Saturday, February 17; the alumni student-athletes will be recognized during the between-game intermissions of the women's and men's basketball games against Erie Community College followed by a live performance by Eric Bibb, a internationally renowned blues-folk musician, which will take place in the Stuart Steiner Theatre.

Alumni student-athletes should contact Kristen Clark, sports information coordinator, if they would like to be honored during the basketball games. The Cougars are hosting the Erie Community College Kats at 1 and 3 p.m. in the Zambito Gymnasium at the Batavia Campus. Alumni in attendance will be introduced by name, the sport they played and the academic class they attended at GCC. Former student-athletes may participate by contacting Clark at 585-343-0055 ext. 6441 or at keclark@genesee.edu.

The Bibb performance will be in the Stuart Steiner Theater at 8 p.m.

Tickets for the concert are $6 each. Call 585-345-6814 to reserve tickets.
