C-C student art work is award winning

High school students at Churchville-Chili Central School District competed in the annual Scholastic Art and Writing competition this year and won awards for 14 of the 18 pieces of visual art they entered in the contest. There were more than 7,000 entries nationwide.

District students who received Gold Key Awards selected for highest levels of artistic excellence were: Jenna Curran, Justina Felix, Devin Flood, Jenna Iannucci, Nicole Kittle, Jonathan Quintela and Pauline Wegman.

District students who received Silver Key Awards and were selected for exceptional merit are: Justin Iannucci, Nicole Kittle, Kelly Redmond and Pauline Wegman.

Additionally, Pauline Wegman won an Excellence in Illustration Award; Justina Felix won Excellence in Printmaking; and Jenna Curran and Nicole Kittle both won Gold Key Portfolio Awards.
