Knights of Columbus free throw championship planned

On Saturday, February 10, the Knights of Columbus from St. Leo Church in Hilton, council #9461, will be hosting the District Championships for the annual K of C Free Throw Championship. It will be held at the Quest School on West Avenue in Hilton, at noon and will run until about 2 p.m. The participants earned the chance to compete by winning their local contest in January, by making the most baskets out of 15 Free Throw attempts. They will represent local K of C councils, including St. Leo's #9461, Spencerport's Pope John XXIII #7707 and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton #11740 from Hamlin.

Winners in the District Championship (best score out of 25 Free Throws), will earn the chance to move on to the regional or state championships. Refreshments available for spectators.
