Ray Adams Cobblestone Community building receives award

The Ray Adams Cobblestone Community building will be receiving the Civic Beautification Award at the Greater Churchville-Riga Chamber of Commerce annual dinner on Thursday, March 8. It is located on the hill immediately behind St. Vincent DePaul Church in Churchville. The building, originally built as a school, has also served as a theatre, school gym, Grange Hall and as a United Methodist Church building. It is currently used as a meeting hall and historical artifact display area. It has undergone extensive rehabilitation including a complete renovation of the interior, new windows and repointing of the cobblestone exterior.
