Stathopoulos, Thomas "Tommy," February 3, 2007, age 62. Predeceased by his brother, Van Stathe. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Dimitra (Toula) Stathopoulos; sons, Chris (Carmella) Stathopoulos and George Stathopoulos; daughter, Faye (Rich) Royle; grandsons, Thomas and Johnathon Stathopoulos; mother-in-law, Antigoni Vasdekis; sisters, Niki Harissis and Despina (Evangelos) Gitsis of Greece; brother, Dino (Voula) Stathe; sisters-in-law, Anastasia Stathe and Eleni Mitsakaki of Greece; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Tommy was devoted to his family and business, the Millhouse Family Restaurant in Clarkson, and was a member of the Drospigi Society.

Funeral Services were held February 7 at Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, Rochester. Interment, White Haven Memorial Park. Contributions can be made to Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation or American Cancer Society in his memory.

•Hobbs, Donald F., Age 63, January 31, 2007. Survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda; also by daughters, Pamela Hobbs of Boston, Massachusetts, Sherry (Kenneth) Haylett of Albion, and Lori (Gavin) Lorenz of Albany; grandchildren, Kenneth Haylett Jr., Carie (Ben) Doty and Katie Haylett; brother Roger (Jean) Hobbs of Springwater and sister Susan (Richard) Bennett of Barre; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services were held February 6 at Christopher-Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., Albion. Burial in Mt. Albion Cemetery. Memorial can be made to Hospice of Orleans or to the Orleans County 4-H Youth Program.


BERGEN

•Johnson, Neva J., February 2, 2007, at age 84. She is survived by three daughters, Marjorie (Harris) Busmire of Bergen, Marie Johnson of Colorado and Judy (William) Zirbes of Rochester; two sons, Frederick (Marion Fountain) Johnson of Albion and Walter (Mary) Johnson of LeRoy; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; brother Michael (Patricia) Gage of Arizona; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert in 1999.

Funeral Services were held February 6 at the Cameron Brady & Steuber Funeral Home, LeRoy. Interment, Grandview Cemetery, Batavia. Contributions can be made to the Stone Church Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund in her memory.


BROCKPORT

Boehlecke, Olive G., Age 86, died February 3, 2007. Survivors include husband, Robert; children, Muriel Carpenter-Belcher, Watertown, Harlean Carpenter, Troy, Robert Boehlecke Jr., Ithaca, Kathryn (Tom) Fairbrother, Spencerport, Barbara (Mark) Kurzen, Columbia, Illinois. Olive was a Home Economist with the Co-Operative Extension in St. Lawrence and Chemung County.

Huber, Helen I., February 2, 2007, at age 90. Survived by her husband of 63 years Bernard J. Huber Sr.; sons Bernard J. Huber Jr., Daniel J. (Suzette) Huber; daughters Nancy J. (Philip) Olin and Barbara J. (Ronald) Presler; grandchildren Adam (Kimberly) Huber, Michael Sanborn, Bradley, Julie and Michelle Presler; great-grandchildren Alexus, Austin and Dillon Huber.

A Funeral Mass was said February 5 at St. Vincent DePaul Church, Churchville. Spring interment Riga Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Churchville Volunteer Fire Department or a charity of one's choice in her memory.


Quartz, Joseph G. "Jerry," February 2, 2007, at age 82. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Catherine "Bridget" Quartz; sisters, Mary Lou (Jack) Tobin, Jean (Richard) Pollinger; brother-in-law Ronald Quinlan, all of Hornell; sister-in-law, Marie (Edward) Schane of Pittsburgh and Joanne Rohan of Hornell; brother-in-law James (Mary) O'Connor of Dansville; many nieces and nephews. He was a retiree of Bausch & Lomb Co. and was a member of the Churchville Volunteer Fire Department for many years.

HAMLIN

Seaman, Josephine E., Formerly of Hamlin. Predeceased by her husband, Arthur "Dutch" Seaman; son, Frank John Seaman. Survived by her sons, William (Carolyn) and Roger (Lois); five grandchildren, Abby, Linda, Todd, Mark and Shari; one great-grandchild, Julianne, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held in the spring. Those wishing can contribute to St. John's Lutheran Church, Hamlin in her memory.


HILTON

Costanzi, Anna D., February 4, 2007, age 93. She is survived by her daughters, Judith Henchen and Linda (Peter) DeMar; grandchildren, Kimberly and Kevin Henchen and Douglas Pease; nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Martin, Howard L. Jr., February 3, 2007, age 56. He is survived by his wife, Keitha; his daughters Lisa Kuhn, Tamara Martin, Bethany Martin (Jim Rouse); his son, Scott Gravenor; grandchildren, Andrew, Justin and Tyler Kuhn, Zachary and Dakota Martin, Elena and Taran Quigley; his parents, Howard Sr. and Bernice Martin; his brother, Michael (Eva) Martin; sisters, Ruth (Andrew) Wemple, Susan (Matthew) Doyle, Terri Martin, Lisa (Paul) Lorange; father and mother-in-law, Robert and Dorothy Woodams; brother and sister-in-law, Kurt (Robin) Woodams; nieces and nephews. He was a close brother and a member in good standing with Old Crow New York MC., Inc.

Ophardt, Audrey J. (Mitchell) (Unger), age 81, on February 5, 2007, as a result of an automobile accident. Predeceased by her dearly beloved husband of 50 years, Clarence; sisters, Dorothy Richer, Betty Lemcke and Ruth Mitchell. Survived by her children, Dr. Thomas Ophardt, Barbara (Toby) Unger, Edward Ophardt, Mary (Steven) Hokana, Fred (Lana) Ophardt; grandchildren, Lacey (John) Bonner and Nick Unger; Henry, Carolyn and Holly Ophardt, Corrie (Chris) Herrin; Peter, Katherine and Jonathan Hokana; Drew Ophardt; sister, Evelyn Mitchell; brother, William Mitchell; sisters-in-law, Gail Ophardt and Arlene (Warren) Barrett; many nieces and nephews.

HOLLEY

Potote, Lorraine L. (DiNicola), died February 4, 2007 at Lakeside Beikirch Care Center after a long illness. Predeceased by her parents, Vanzie and Mary (Salerno) DiNicola, and her sister, Carmela DeLaura. Survived by her devoted husband, Torino F. Potote; her loving daughters, Paula (Jim) Bannister and Susan (Tom) Morgan; her adoring grandchildren, Stacy (Kevin) Cougle, Daniel Bannister, Karla (Jerry) Zaffis, Ryan Morgan; her precious great grandchildren, Julia and Adam Cougle; one sister, Angie (Chipper) Gifaldi; two brothers, Donald (Carol) DiNicola and Albert (Betty) DiNicola; one sister-in-law, Ad (Fred) Kaminke; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Lorraine was a businesswoman in Holley where she owned and operated Lorraine's Beauty Salon and earned her realtor's license later in life and became a successful realtor. Lorraine was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church and an involved member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion in Holley.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place in the summer. Contributions can be made to St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 11 North Main Street, Holley 14470 in her memory.


Schmidt, Howard Erich, Age 48, died January 20, 2007. Erich was an employee of Villager Construction. He is survived by his children, Erica Schmidt, Howard Bryan Schmidt, Brittany Schmidt; sisters, Marlaina Wooton, Lynette (James) Boldt; nieces, nephews, cousins.
A private service was held. Interment in North Byron Cemetery. Contributions can be made to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in his memory.


NORTH CHILI

Ess, Clayton L., January 31, 2007, age 92. Predeceased by his wife, Marjorie "Midge." Survived by children, David (Jeanette) Ess, Sandy (Joel) Mathias, Sally Ess; five grandchildren, Shelly Beechner, Eric Ess and fiancée Kris Rokazas, Sally-Jane Mathias, Tracy (Mark) DiOrio, Jill (Jason) Bisping; great-grandchildren, Donnie Beechner, Myah DiOrio; several nieces and nephews. Clayton was a member and past president of the Chili Fire Department, past Town of Chili Fire Marshall, lifetime member of Chili Lions Club and a Melvin Jones recipient. Clayton was a retiree of Kodak after 38 years.

Funeral Services were held February 6 at the Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home, Chili. Interment, Maple Lawn Cemetery, Elba, NY. Contributions can be made to Chili Lions Club or Chili Rescue Squad in his memory.


SPENCERPORT

Donsky, Marilyn J. (Killian), Age 54. She is survived by her husband, Gary E.; parents Elsie and Walter Killian; sister, Phyllis (Nick) Spring-Johnson; brother, Peter (Elizabeth) Killian; nieces and nephews, Christie, Michael, Matthew, Marah, Leah, Leanna Rose; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Betty and Ben Donsky; brother-in-law, Steven M. (Christine) Donsky; several aunts, uncles; many friends and students; and devoted companion, Spencer. She was a well known ed-ucator at Brockport Middle School, Brockport.

A Memorial Service was held February 5 at St. Martin's in the Field Episcopal Church, Baseline Road, Grand Island, New York. A Celebration of Marilyn's life was held February 6 at the Newman Center, Brockport. SOUTH BYRON

Barber, Dominic J. (Jr.), February 1, 2007, age 83. Husband of Doris A. (Lang) Barber of South Byron; father of Penny (Rick) Menzie of Bergen, June Abramski of Corfu, Peggy (Rev. Cyrus) Levia of Olean, John (Lisa) Irvine of Brockport and Robert Irvine of South Byron; brother of Peter (Betty) Barber of Brockport and Josephine Janus of Waterport; brother-in-law of JoAnn Barber, Dorothy Vanelli and Kenneth Lang, all of Brockport and Janet Marling of Holley; grandfather of 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
