Clarkson court get computer upgrade

Clarkson Justice Court Clerk Sharon S. Mattison filed for a grant through the New York State Unified Justice Court Assistance Program because the Town of Clarkson was looking to upgrade the computer system and the aging copier for the justice court. The grant application was accepted and approved.

The justice court received a new and upgraded computer system and money to purchase a new digital copier that will be linked directly to the court computers and operates as a fax machine as well. Through the efforts of Mattison on behalf of the Town of Clarkson Justice Court, the town was able to comply with some of the suggestions made by Chief Judge Judith Kaye's Action Plan for Justice Courts.
