Community invited to bid on their
favorites at Ogden Library silent auction

The bid price might be right for someone to take home a needed service or sought after product at a Silent Auction running March 5 through March 29 at the Ogden Farmers' Library, 269 Ogden Center Road, Spencerport. On the final day, a variety of items will go to the highest bidders, often at bargain prices for the purchasers.

To participate, visit the library and check out the tables inside the library and also the display case in the hall where the auction items are displayed. Choose from an assorted list of items which includes restaurant certificates, hair salon services and other products donated by area merchants and service providers.

The cooperative fundraiser is sponsored by the library and the Spencerport Kiwanis Club which share the proceeds to improve library services and to support community projects.

It's easy to participate - stop in and fill out a bid ticket. Keep an eye on how your bid is doing and see if your bid on the desired item needs to be raised by stopping back during the auction. Final bids must be in by 9 p.m. on March 29; bidders do not need to be present and winners will be notified by phone on Saturday, March 31.
