Holley students learn about careers

Holley Family and Consumer Science (FaCS) students learned first-hand about a variety of careers due to the efforts of a group of parent volunteers. Pilot Ted Benjovsky, Operations Manager Sean Brooks, Massage Therapist Kris Dibelka, Nurse Sheila Gallets, Network Engineer Scott Iachetta, Precision Machinist Bob Lasch, Nurse Mary Moy, Nursing Home Insurance Biller Patty Spychalski, Power Plant Facilitator Tom Vickerson, and Engineer Mike Zona spoke to students about what they do in their jobs and what type of training they needed to get there. Students also worked in the computer lab seeking out careers to match their interests, then wrote essays about the careers they are interested in pursuing and why.
