Spencerport Forum on Building Project March 13

Residents in the Spencerport Central School District can learn about the proposed 2007 Capital Project at a public forum on Tuesday, March 13 at 6:45 p.m. at the District Office Building, 71 Lyell Avenue in Spencerport.

On February 6, the Board of Education approved a $12.4 million proposal to renovate and improve facilities using special EXCEL reimbursement aid from New York state, regular building aid and a portion of the district's capital reserves, leaving essentially no local tax rate increase, according to district officials. The project includes work at each school along with improvements to the soccer field and the addition of lights at the football stadium.

Information on the project is available at the forum, online at http://www.SpencerportSchools.org or by calling Alan Getter, assistant superintendent for business, 349-5110.
