Holley district still exploring construction options

Holley Superintendent of Schools Robert D'Angelo said the process of exploring construction options under the state education department's EXCEL program are continuing.

"Several of us went to Albany to meet with project engineer, Curt Miller, to gain some perspective and direction on our options," D'Angelo said. "He provided us with some scenarios to take into consideration as we look to provide a good, solid building for our students."

The Holley construction committee team will meet at 5:30 p.m. on March 14 in the cafeteria to look at the proposals. "We are exploring either a one phase or a two phase project," D'Angelo said.

Once the committee makes a determination on a potential construction project, they will take it to the board of education who will make the final decision on the type and scope of project that will be presented to the public for a vote.
