AREA

•Johnstone, William Cragbon, died March 7, 2007 after a long battle with heart disease. Bill served in the U.S. Army, 82nd Airborne Division as a paratrooper during WWII. Bill will be missed by his loving wife of 53 years, Joan; sons, Ross, Joel (Shelley Rae). Family Denise Johnstone; grandchildren Ryan, Joel, Kelsie Johnstone, Amanda Nadeau; sister-in-law, Janice Hannel; brother-in-law, David Kohler; nephews, Brian and Mark Hannel; sister, Pamela (Maurice) Dewey; nieces, Sarah (Dan) Herlehey, Leah (Kenneth) Stevens; nephews, Dayle (Shelley), Curtis (Patty), Seth (Neva) and Reed (Greta) Dewey; several great-grand nieces and nephews; friends, Shelley Eldridge (Aiden), Bill (Melinda) Danko and Kenneth Nenni.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Donations can be made to hospice (Heart Fund) or St. John Lutheran Church, Hamlin, New York in his memory.


•Zahniser, F. Elizabeth, age 97 of Heritage Village, Gerry, New York, died March 2, 2007. She serviced for 45 years as the wife and helpmate of the Rev. Dr. Clarence H. Zahniser, a minister in the Free Methodist Church and a professor both at Houghton and Roberts Wesleyan Colleges. In mid-life she received her BA degree from Houghton College and her master's degree from SUNY at Geneseo. Elizabeth served as a librarian at Spencerport High School for 10 years and was a Fellow of Roberts Wesleyan College. Wife of the late Rev. Dr. Clarence H. Zahniser (1972); loving mother of Elaine Z. (Lem Lehistik) Conolly, Marvin R. (Adrienne) Zahniser; grandmother of Tara-Beth Conolly, Patrick Conolly, Mark H. (Francine) Zahniser, Keith A. Zahniser, Craig A. (Amy) Zahniser; sister of Anna Mae Lynch, Dorothy Hamilton, and the late Charles and John Weir. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held March 8 in Seeley Chapel of Heritage Village. Interment will be in North Chili Cemetery.


BROCKPORT

•Cox, Wesley S., Beloved husband and father, died March 9, 2007. He is survived by his wife, Lynne; his children Wesley III (Christine), Bradley (Fran), Craig, Wayne; seven grandchildren; three step children Jerry (LeeAnn) Glogowski, Jeanne (Mark) LaFountain, and Sandi Glogowski. Wesley was an accountant for many years.

A Funeral Service was held March 16 at the Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., Brockport. Spring interment.

•Jubenville, Jeanne E., age 65, March 11, 2007. Predeceased by her brother, Dwight Akey and her parents, Everett and Doris (Thayer) Akey. Survived by her husband of 44 years, Richard; children, Rick Jubenville, Everett (Vicki Havholm) Jubenville, Michelle (John Wagner) Jubenville, Kelly (Doug Stephens) Jubenville; brothers, Everette Akey, Charles (Kathy) Akey; sisters, Noma (Robert) Atkinson, Mary Kay (Jack) Littrell; grandchildren, Melissa Nunnery, Cory Jubenville; in-laws, Donald (Betty) Jubenville, Madeline (Ken) McCullough, Rosemary (Edward) Seaman; very special friend, Walter Kane.

•Kapella, Stanley (Mike), March 12, 2007. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Marie; sister-in-law Annina Ciolo; cousins and many good friends.

A Funeral Mass was said March 14 at the Church of the Nativity of BVM, Brockport. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. A mass can be said for the repose of his soul or contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice in his memory.


•Strawcutter, Michael B., age 54, died March 11, 2007. Survived by his wife, Claire; children Brandi Lee and Tracy Strawcutter; step children Patricia (Paul) Gonzalez, Brian (Ann) Van Cott II, Brandy VanCott; brothers, Dennis, Scott; sister Vikki (Craig) Mattice; grandchildren Trevor Martin Gonzalez, Joshua Thomas Welling. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother.

A Memorial Service was held March 17 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Hilton.


CHURCHVILLE

•Niggli, Margaret Jean, February 23, 2007. She was lovingly cared for by her son, Peter A. Niggli, in their Churchville home until the time of her death. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Roy Henry Niggli. Surviving members of her family are her son, Peter A. Niggli of Churchville; her daughter, RoJean ("Jo") Kling (Jim) of Gig Harbor, Washington; her grandchildren, Brian Niggli, Barbara Niggli and Jen Kling; great-grandchildren and her sister, Martha Closser of Fairport. After the sudden death of her husband, Roy, in 1974, she moved to Tucson, Arizona where she resided until the early 90s. The next decade was spent in Gig Harbor, Washington, actively involved with her family and friends at church. By 2001, Peg moved back to upstate New York where she lived with her son, Peter.

A Celebration of Her Life was held March 14 at Open Door Baptist Church, Churchville.


HILTON

•Donovan, Mona A., March 10, 2007, age 88. She will be remembered by daughter and son-in-law, Terry and Sherwood Towers; grandchildren Amy Towers, Katie Towers and Rev. Richard (Barbara Kanakaraj) Towers; brother John Powers; sisters June Gentle and Jean (Anthony) DiGiovanni; brother-in-law Harold Martin; many nieces and nephews. Mona was predeceased by parents James and Mona Louise (MacIndoe) Powers; brother Robert Powers; sisters Ruth (James) Totten and Jane (William) Sadwick; brother-in-law Joseph Gentle; sisters-in-law, Suzanne Powers-Martin and Mary Ann Powers. Mona was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Co.

All services were private. Burial will be in Parma Union Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association, 2700 Chestnut Street, Chester, Pennsylvania 19013 in her memory.


•Park, Wayland L. "Topper," March 6, 2007, "Topper" at age 64. Survived by his wife, Bonnie; children, Sherri (Robert) Scheg, Darren Park, Patricia Maher (Steven); brother, Harold; sisters, Beverly, Janet, Dorothy and Lois; grandchildren, Kelsey, Ashlie-Marie Brendan, Madison; special friends, Cowboy and Dick.

•Koppler, Frances T. (Drury) (Roach), March 11, 2007 at 94 years young. Predeceased by her daughter, Marilyn DiDomenico; daughter-in-law, Diane Q. Drury; grandson, Joseph DiDomenico; seven brothers and sisters. Survived by her sister, Rita Bement; son, Gerard F. Drury; daughter Beverly M. (Arthur) Walters; son-in-law, Joseph DiDomenico; grandchildren, Deborah (Tim White) Drury, Rick (Donna) Drury, Vicki MacDonald, Scott Walters, Lorie Penna, Kevin Walters, Agnes DiDomenico, Mark (Chris) DiDomenico, Susan DiDomenico, Karen Haystings; great grandchildren, Jennifer (Andrew) Scibona, J.J. A Mass of Intention was offered in her memory March 18 at St. Christopher's Church, North Chili. Interment at the convenience of the family. Contributions can be made to Cancer Research in honor of her daughter Marilyn.


SPENCERPORT

•Ensman, Robert M., age 76 of Jefferson, Georgia, died March 8, 2007. Mr. Ensman was raised in Spencerport and graduated from Spencerport High School. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and was retired from the Monroe County Sheriff's Department in Rochester. Survivors include his wife Norene Ensman; son and daughter-in-law Gary and Carol Ensman of Lexington, South Carolina; daugh-ter and son-in-law Lori and Rick Rook of Cumming, Georgia; and grandchildren Sarah Rook and Molly Gunter.

A Memorial Mass was said March 12 at the St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, Commerce, Georgia. Donations can be made to St. Catherine's build-ing fund in his memory.


•Tripple, James A., age 59, of Spencerport, formerly of Frankfort, died March 10, 2007 in St. Elizabeth's Medical Center. Mr. Tripple was salesman for Angelica Uniform from 1978 until 2000 and later for AFLAC, Rochester. He was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church and St. Jude's Catholic Church. He is survived by his mother, Yolanda Tripple of Frankfort; three sons, James M. Tripple of Dallas, Texas, Mark A. Tripple of Rochester and Airman Matthew J. Tripple serving with the US Navy in Virginia Beach; one grand-son, Ty Anthony Peebles of Watertown; his special friend, Phyllis Bianchi of Spencerport; his aunts and un-cles, Mary Sgroi, Ottavia Maida, Palma and Michael Ambrosewicz, Enos and Helen Tripple, Mary and Angelo Sweet and Mary Pacini; his close friends, Fred Ruffalo and Don Ruffalo, both of Greece, and several cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Dominick F. Tripple in 1984 and his brother, Richard Tripple in 2006.

A Mass of Christian Burial was said March 15 at Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church, Frankfort. Spring in-terment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the American Heart Association in his memory.
