•Armes, Challiss A. (Rockow), of Rochester, unexpectedly March 19, 2007. Predeceased by her father Norman Rockow. Survived by her mother Dorothy (Nettnin) Rockow; children Butch (Kris Boylin) Armes, Pamela (Chip) Simmons; brother Wayne Rockow; grandchildren Elizabeth, Katelyn, Cody Armes, Colin, Lauryn, Jack Simmons.

A Memorial Service was held March 23 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Hamlin. Contributions can be made to Unity Health Foundation, Mental Health Dept., 1555 Long Pond Road, Rochester 14626-4122 in her memory.


•Wirth, Darley "Dean," March 1, 2007, in Mt. Dora, Florida at age 81, after a battle with cancer. He is survived by wife, Theresa; children, Steven, Dean, Raymond, Shelly, Douglas, Penny and Sue and spouses; sisters Alice and Ann; and many grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of WWII, retired from Xerox and an avid golfer.

A Memorial Service was held March 20 at Concordia Lutheran Church, Brockport.


BERGEN

•Hill, Roy G., March 18, 2007, age 66. Former Superintendent of Village of Spencerport Department of Public Works. Husband of Helen F. (Cockram) Hill of Bergen; father of Wayne R. (Michelle) Hill of Batavia, Mark D. (Gretchen) Hill of Greensboro, North Carolina, and Kristen (Jeremy) Rich of Bergen; brother of Lola (Bob) Schappell of North Carolina and Dorcas Arbach of Maryland; grandfather of Ashley, Kelsey, Lindsey, Jordan, Sydney and Quintin.

BROCKPORT

•Good, Julia F., On March 20, 2007. She is survived by her children, Timothy (Linda), Terry (Suzan Rombaut), Todd; three grandchildren Mallory, Bart and Gary; two sisters June (Harold) Harrington, Irma Badge, and one brother William Kluth; several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service was held March 23 at the Concordia Lutheran Church, Brockport. Spring interment, Lakeview Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or Concordia Lutheran Church, Brockport in her memory.


•Keenan, Noreen, beloved wife and mother died March 18, 2007. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Raymond Keenan; four sons Michael Stone, Martin Stone, Mitchell Stone and John Keenan; seven grandchildren Adam, Andy, Abraham, Jason, Caleb, Joshua and Ashley.

There will be no funeral service as Noreen donated her body to science at the University of Rochester in hope of helping others.


•King, Peggie Louise, On March 18, 2007, at the age of 71. Predeceased by her grandson, Todd Boley. Survived by her husband Franklin R. King; children, James (Maureen) Williams, Charlaine (Robert) Anderson, Kathryn (George) Boley, Lynnette Manuel, Donna Manuel, Kenneth (Theresa) King, Rhonda (Shawn) Latimere, Mark (Wendy) King; 25 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and a host of other family members.

A Memorial Service was held March 23 at the Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Rochester. Contributions can be made to the National Kidney Foundation in her memory.

•Colburn, Dorothy M., March 16, 2007, at the age of 85. Loving mother of Sharon (Douglas) Thompson, Lisa (Edward) Kennedy, and Lyell Colburn of North Carolina. Loving grandmother of Douglas (Rebecca), Raymond (Keirstan), Jonathan (Cynthia) Thompson, Diantha (Kevin) Potter, Michael, Andrew, Tia Kennedy, Justin, Sunni Colburn. Loving great-grandmother of Brittany, Brandon, Morgan, Dakota, Nicolas, Tyler Thompson, Mercedez, Camdyn Loomis, Landen, Braelynne Potter and Talyn Kennedy; brother, John Hutchinson of Buffalo; several nieces, nephews and friends.

HILTON

•Russell, Frederick B. "Fred," March 20, 2007 at age 77. Predeceased by his parents, Bruce and Ruth Russell. He is survived by his beloved wife, Carol A. (Van Nierop) Russell; sons, Jeffrey Russell and Alan Russell; sister Louise (Bob) Luther; dear friends, Tom and Carol Eichelberger; brother-in-law, Dick (Claire) Van Nierop; nephews, Bruce Luther and Larry Luther and many extended family at the Highlands at Brighton. Fred was a Veteran of the US Air Force. He retired as a Chemical Engineer at Eastman Kodak.

Funeral Services were held March 23 at the All Seasons Chapel in White Haven Memorial Park. Entombment in White Haven Memorial Park. •Clack, Grace M., Age 93, March 18, 2007. Predeceased by husband, Norm; brother John Waldron; daughters, Mary Kenyon, Bonnie (Glenn) Wheeler; great-granddaughters Sarah Stuart, Grace and Elise Willgens. She is survived by her sons John (Millie) Clack of Greece, Norman (Ann) Clack Jr. of South Carolina; daughter, Frances "Sue" (Richard) Willgens of Kendall; 10 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial was said March 23 at St. Joseph's R.C. Church. Burial in Kent Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Central Orleans Volunteer Ambulance or to an organization of one's choice in her memory.


KENDALL

•Mayes, Paul C., Age 63, March 19, 2007. Predeceased by his father Gordon. Survived by his wife Dixie; children Linda (Tim) Lewis of Albion, John of Holley, Kimberly (Keith) Makowski, Tim (Marcia) and Matthew all of Kendall; nine grandchildren; mother Helen Mayes; brother William Mayes; sister-in-law Janice Mayes, all of Kendall; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial was said March 23 at St. Joseph's Church, Albion. Memorials can be made to the family.


SPENCERPORT

•Jacobs, Eleanor (Rubenstein), of Farmington Hills, Michigan, formerly of Spencerport/Rochester. Died January 30, 2007. Survived by her son, Martin Jacobs; her daughter, Barbara Spellman; grandchildren, Phoenix, Sierra, Jalen, Sabrina; her brother Philip (Ettie) Rubenstein; nieces and nephews. Eleanor graduated from Churchville High School, University of Buffalo, Oakland University, Masters in Social Work.

•Webster, Russell G., Age 83, March 18, 2007. Survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Ida (Kanous) Webster; children Russ (Liz) Webster, Elaine (Joe) Zorsch; brothers Gerald Webster, Raymond (Betty) Webster; sisters Nettie (Harry) Gosnell, Beatrice (Leland) Masters; grandchildren Jackie and Holly Webster, Shannon and Cory Zorsch; sisters-in-law Elsie Webster, Naomi Strassner, Dorothy Kanous; brother-in-law, Merton Wohlers. He also leaves many loved nieces, nephews and friends.

•Willis, David L., formerly of Spencerport, died in Roswell, Georgia on March 14, 2007 at the age of 84. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Laura Mae Weber Willis. He is also survived by two daughters, Laureen Hedges (Robert) of Wheatley, Oxon England and Sandi Harding of Marietta, Georgia; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Ellen Stark (Jim) of Fairport and brother James Willis (Jean) of Los Banos, California; several nieces and nephews. He was a graduate of Webster High School and worked at Eastman Kodak in Management Systems and the Payroll Department. He was a veteran of World War II. He remained in the Air Force Reserves for 33 years retiring at the rank of Colonel. He continued his love of flying as a member and flight instructor for 20 years at the Finger Lakes Soaring Club in Dansville, NY.
