Performers raise funds for breast cancer research

Performers from Brockport School of Dance and Performing Arts held a concert to benefit breast cancer research on Sunday, March 4. The concert, which raised $900 for the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester, was held at the Rose L. Strasser Studio at SUNY Brockport.

The benefit concert is an annual event for the performing arts school, with a different charity benefiting each year. A full range of dance, from modern to jazz to lyrical, as well as drama scenes from selected plays was featured at the performance. More than 40 young performers participated in this year's concert.
