The Spencerport Alumni Association was one of the first public high school Alumni Associations in New York State, formed in 1936 and incorporated in 2000 as a not for profit corporation. The purpose of the Spencerport Alumni Association, Inc. is to fund three scholarships for graduating seniors of Spencerport High Schol. The scholarships are named in memory of former Spencerport teachers: The Ada M. Cosgrove Scholarship is specifically for a student who is pursuing a teaching career; The Mildred Snyder Scholarship is for a student demonstrating academic excellence in the fields of Math or Science; The E.J. Wilson Scholarship recognizes a student who has demonstrated a commitment to community service through participation in school and community activities. The three scholarships awarded in June 2006 were each in the sum of $1,000.

Funding for the scholarships comes solely from the annual dues and donations made to the scholarship fund. The annual dues for the Alumni Association are $6.
