Joseph Dorney, of Hamlin, has been named to the dean's list for the second quarter at Rochester Institute of Technology. A third-year student in RIT's College of Applied Science and Technology, Dorney is studying packaging science, and is on co-op assignment at Hammer Packaging in Rochester. Dorney is the son of Jay and Patricia Dorney of Hamlin and is a 2004 graduate of Kendall High School.


Christine Goodwin, the daughter of Keith and Karen Goodwin of Byron, graduated cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree from Ithaca College's School of Humanities and Sciences. The degree was awarded in December 2006.


Krystal Eichas, daughter of James and June Eichas of Hilton, graduated with a bachelor of science degree from Ithaca College's School of Health Sciences and Human Performance. The degree was awarded in December 2006.


Katherine Porter of Brockport was named to the dean's honor list for the fall semester at Franklin Pierce College in Rindge, New Hampshire. Porter, an English major, earned dean's honor list standing by maintaining a term grade point average of at least 3.65 on a scale of four.


Air Force Airman Yazmin M. Shaw graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. She is the daughter of Marilyn Shaw of Rochester and niece of Maria Delgado of Spencerport. She is a 2006 graduate of Spencerport High School.
