Spring Story Fest enjoyed by all

Parents and children enjoyed the Hilton Schools 17th Annual Spring Story Fest held March 29 at the Village Elementary School. A special author this year, Jane Kurtz, spoke about her many stories and tales, signed books, and talked to children about being a writer. A world traveler and renowned children's author of multi-cultural tales, Kurtz, spoke about her many stories and tales, signed books, and talked to children about being a writer. A world traveler and renowned children's author of multi-cultural tales, Kurtz is located in Kansas but visits schools throughout the country. The Story Fest also featured New York State poet Amy Ludwig Vanderwater whose poetry has been published in Lee Bennett Hopkins' anthologies and who has visited Hilton schools as an instructor in primary and intermediate units of study.
