Patricia Connors of Brockport has been named the New York State Department of Health Western Region Outstanding Employee.

A health program administrator, Connors oversees communication and security operations at the Department of Health's Rochester office. In addition she works closely with the Public Health Emergency Preparedness Office; serves as the Education Coordinator for regional staff and is co-chair of the Health and Safety Committee/Tenant Safety Organization.

According to Acting NYS Department of Health Regional Director Bill Hoogland, "Pat always exhibits a positive attitude and serves as a model for other employees with regard to her work ethic and her willingness to go the extra mile and provide assistance whenever needed. She is a tremendous asset to the Western Region and the department."

During her spare time, Connors serves as a councilperson on the Sweden Town Board and teaches Ballroom Dancing at the Sweden/Clarkson Community Center. Connors and her husband, Bob, have two adult daughters who also reside in Brockport.


Krista Morrill, a Lakeside Health System employee since March 1999, is Lakeside Memorial Hospital's employee of the month for April.

Morrill, an OR Nurse Aide, is a resident of Holley.


Maureen Peer, daughter of Chris and Laura Peer of Spencerport, and a graduate of Spencerport High School, was named to the dean's list for the fall semester at the State University of New York at Geneseo.


Lisa Brockway, of Spencerport, was recognized as the Spirit of Success award recipient at Creative Memories 2007 Regional Conference held February 8-10, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Brockway was a top performer in 2006, demonstrating dedication and determination to create success in her business along with humanitarian and volunteer contributions to her community. She is one of few consultants nationwide to achieve a Regional Spirit of Success Award. Brockway was also a speaker during the main stage program and in an educational breakout session.

Brockway is among the top five percent of all Creative Memories Consultants who lead, inspire and mentor other consultants as they provide the tools and inspiration to help people celebrate their memories in their unique way.


Air Force Reserve Airman Michael P. Randolph has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Randolph earned distinction as an honor graduate. He is the son of John and Rita Randolph of Spencerport.
