BROCKPORT

•Glynn, Helen E., Died March 6, 2007. Predeceased by parents William and Mary Beachel Glynn, brothers William and James Glynn and sisters Mary (Wendell) Sweeting and Genevieve Glynn. Survived by brother George Glynn; niece Kathy (George) Krein; nephews William (Ruth Ann) Glynn, James (Ellen) and William (Ann) Sweeting; several great and great-great nieces and nephews. Helen was employed by the Schenectady City School District from 1929-1970 when she retired as principal of the Elmer Avenue Elementary School and returned to Brockport. In retirement, Helen enjoyed her activities in organizations such as Morgan Manning, Western Monroe Historical Society and Retired Teachers.

A Funeral Mass was said April 27 at Nativity Church BVM, Brockport. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Donations can be made to Nativity Church BVM, Brockport or Lakeside Foundation in her memory.


•Thompson, Marian E., April 22, 2007 at age 86. She was predeceased by her siblings, William, Charlotte Breckenridge, Warren, Robert and Sylvia Jones. She is survived by her niece, Barbara Gauthreaux; her brother-in-law, Donald Jones; several nieces and nephews. She was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company and was the first female member of the Brockport Yacht Club.

A Graveside Service was held April 24 at Garland Cemetery, Brockport. Contributions can be made to the Clarkson Historical Society/ Schoolhouse Fund, c/o Clarkson Town Hall, or the Lakeside Foundation, 156 West Avenue, Brockport 14420 in her memory.


CLARENDON

Stockwell, Richard L., age 63, died April 25, 2007 at Lakeside Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his wife Sandy (Scroger) who he married on June 28, 1966; daughters Pam of Holley, Penny (Shannon) Parker of Holley; grandchildren Brittany and Justin Parker of Holley; mother Elizabeth Stockwell; sisters and brothers Joanne (William) Arnett of Medina, Harold W. (Jackie) Stockwell of Elba, Larry (Dorothy) Stockwell of East Shelby, Pat Harmer of Columbus, Ohio, Kathy (Peter) Zeliff of West Shelby; several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. In addition to his father, Harold Stockwell, he was predeceased by his brother, William J. Stockwell. He was employed at Eastman Kodak Company for 30 years, retiring in May of 1998. He served in the US Air Force for four years and spent time in Viet Nam and was a lifetime member of the VFW Post #202 of Holley.

A Funeral Service was held April 30 at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., Holley. Burial in Millville Cemetery, East Shelby. Donations can be made to VFW Post #202, 8 Veterans Drive, P.O. Box 217, Holley, NY 14470 or to the American Cancer Society in his memory.

HILTON

Fox, Milford "Gene," age 79, April 23, 2007. Predeceased by son, Paul Fox; grandson, Stephen Fox. Survived by his wife of 58 years, Dorothy (Male) Fox; children, David (Elaine) Fox, Elizabeth (Gary) Shultz, Margaret (Richard) Kitson, Michael Fox, Christine (Raymond) Hendershot; sister, Lillian (Robert) Rising; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; cousins, nieces, nephews, many dear friends.

A Funeral Service was held April 26 at Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Hilton. Interment, Parma Union Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Journey Home, 994 Long Pond Road, Rochester 14626 in his memory.


•Hulslander, David J. Jr., age 56, April 24, 2007. Predeceased by sister, Susan. Survived by brothers, Alan, Mark Hulslander; sister, Linda Lagorio; nieces, Dawn Cruz, Tracey Lagorio.

•Wilmot, Dorothy M. (Tracy), April 20, 2007 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by her husband, Herbert Wilmot in December 2003, and four sisters, Ruth, Marion, Evelyn and Gerry; one brother, Joe, as well as her parents, Ella and Arthur Tracy. She is survived by her daughters Tracy (Frank) Panczyszyn, Valerie Klafehn, and Diane Wilmot-Petricone; sons, Glen (Eileen) and Don (Penny). She is also survived by loving grandchildren Aaron and Garret Klafehn, (Charlotte, North Carolina), Kimberly Sara and Brandon Wilmot (Hilton) and Emma and Alex Wilmot, Joshua Sattora (Greece). Also Ted Panczyszyn, (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) and Stephanie (Joe) Watkins; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Collin Frederick and Taylor Watkins, (Temperance, Michigan). Dorothy also leaves sister Edith (Thor) Jensen; brother, Earl Tracy and many nieces, nephews and cherished friends.

HOLLEY

Hughes, Patricia H. (Dobmeier), Age 64, died April 22, 2007. Patricia held a B.S. in nursing and a M.S. in education and was a registered nurse and case manager at Arbor Hill Care Center. Beloved wife to Douglass; beloved mother of Erin E. (Satomi U.) Hughes, Patrick (Casey L. Cline) Hughes, Mary K. (Quentin Sterling) Hughes; grandmother of Eric E. Hughes; dear sister of Mary L. Mietus, John (Bonnie) Dobmeier, James (Nancy) Dobmeier, Helyn (Jeffery) Delmont, Pegg Dobmeier, Susan (Bently) Burgess, Bette (David) Cleveland, Sally (David) Husted; sister-in-law to Kathleen M. Hughes (deceased), Eileen Graziano, Michael J. Hughes, Ann and Michael DiAntonio, Claire Powers; beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service was held April 28 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Holley.


SPENCERPORT

Allen, Helen R., April 22, 2007, at age 80. She was predeceased by her loving husband George D. Allen. She is survived by her children George K. "Chip" (Michelle) Allen of Gainesville, Florida, Sarah (Dale) Barton of Hilton and Julie (Jim) Guisbert of Marion; her grand-children Stephanie and Christine Allen, Heather (Jim) Kearnes, Allison and Chelsey Barton, Kyle and Devin Guisbert; her brother John (Alma) Roper of Golden, Colorado; a niece and a nephew. Helen was a WWII Cadet Nurse, Registered Professional Nurse, trained and graduated from Park Avenue Hospital where she was class president. Employed for over 15 years at Lakeside Memorial Hospital in Brockport.

A Memorial Service was held April 26 at the First Congregational UCC (The White Church), Spencerport. Contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Memorial Fund of the White Church in her memory.
