Credit Unions Care for Kids Program

For over a decade, area credit unions from Rochester and the surrounding counties have conducted bake sales, sold dinner and theater books, held raffles and the like to raise money for the Credit Unions Care for Kids community involvement project. The project is designed to provide special funding to area hospitals that serve the medical needs of youthful patients. To date, well over $75,000 has been raised and distributed locally. This year's recipients are: Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong, Rochester General, Unity Hospital, Lakeside Memorial at Brockport, Newark Wayne, FF Thompson in Canandaigua.

Credit union participants are: Brockport, ESL, Fairport, Finger Lakes, First Link, Gates-Chili, Greece, Highland Hospital, Irondequoit, Lyell, Pittsford, Spencerport, Summit, St. Pius X Church and Reliant Community Credit Union (formerly WCTA). Provided photo.
