Monroe County to repair Mill Road

Mill Road's pavement has deteriorated due to the fierce weather conditions faced this past winter, according to Monroe County officials. As a result, Monroe County DOT will be filling potholes, and repairing minor damages along the thoroughfare. From May 29 through June 1, weather permitting, County DOT will be performing repairs with hot asphalt along Mill Road, between Manitou Road and Long Pond Road. These repairs will allow Mill Road to be serviceable until future reconstruction begins.

The complete Mill Road reconstruction project is planned in two stages. Phase 1 will include work from Larkin's Creek to Long Pond Road beginning in the spring of next year. Phase 2 will include work from Manitou Road to Larkin's Creek beginning in the spring of 2009.
