Brockport resident, Joseph Butler, has been named to the dean's list at Palmer College of Chiropractic, Florida Campus, in Port Orange, Florida.

To be eligible for the dean's list, a student must achieve a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 in all studies for the respective term. The highest possible GPA is 4.00.

Butler, son of William and Mary Butler of Brockport, graduated from Brockport High School in Brockport. He graduated from Genesee Community College with an Associate of Science Degree and from the University at Buffalo, a state university of New York, with a bachelor of science degree in Exercise Science.


Nicholas Earnhart graduated from Purdue University on May 12 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He graduated with a GPA of 3.75 and serves an internship this summer with Rolls Royce in Indianapolis working on jet engine controls. In August he begins a direct doctoral fellowship at Georgia Tech in Mechanical Engineering to study and research control systems. Earnhart, a 2000 graduate of Hilton High School, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Earnhart of Hilton.


Christopher Beres, son of John and Georgeann Beres of Hamlin, has been named to the 2007 spring semester dean's list at the University of Buffalo. He achieved a 3.835 GPA in environmental and civil engineering. Beres is a member of the Chi Epsilon Civil Engineering National Honor Society and is interning this summer with Watts Architectural and Engineering Firm in Buffalo.

Beres is a 2004 graduate of Kendall High School and is majoring in environmental and civil engineering at UB.
