Six Brockport A.D. Oliver Middle School students were honored during the Eighth Grade Awards Assembly on April 20. Emily Banzer and Carley Brindle received the Jeff Bell Award; Kaytlyn Fauci and Amber Reynolds received the Ray Zaffuto Award; and Kevin Bentley and Tara Jackson received the Bill Hertweck Award. The Bell and Zaffuto award recipients were selected by middle school teaching staff based on academic achievement, citizenship and involvement in school activities. The Hertweck Award recipients were selected by the physical education staff based on students' willingness to help when needed, having a cheerful and cooperative attitude and good sportsmanship both in and out of PE class.
