Bergen United Methodist Church welcomes their new pastor July 1. His appointment was made by Western NY Conference Bishop, Rev. Violet Fisher, and approved by the BUMC congregation. Pastor Matthew Farrell has been an associate pastor with the Webster UMC since 2003. He and his wife, Kelli, have a daughter, Emma, age 2. He holds a bachelor of arts in Youth Ministry from Eastern Nazarene College and received his master of arts in Biblical Studies from Asbury Theological Seminary.
