Parma seeking input on Community Center

Town of Parma officials are hosting a public forum to share information and gather public comment on a proposed Community Center project.

The meeting will be 7 p.m., Monday, July 23 at the Parma Town Hall. Town officials had requested prior notification from those individuals who would be attending the meeting.

A brief history of the process which led to the town board's commitment to the study and the selection of the architectural firm will be given. There will be a presentation of the public input gathered to date and an opportunity for residents to share their thoughts on the facility design.
The design under review would house the Recreation Department administrative offices, a Senior Center component, a physical activity element including a gymnasium, an indoor walking track, several meeting and activity rooms, a working kitchen and a design that would incorporate the Parma Public Library into the facility.

For information call the town hall at 392-9461.
