ALBION

Henderson, Catherine S., Aunt "Bea" (also known as "Billie") died July 7, 2007 at the age of 90 at Friendly Home of Rochester. Catherine is predeceased by her loving husband, Donald Henderson, sisters, Bernadine (Hayes) Case, Stella (Hayes) Comden, Francis Hayes, Vincent ("Uncle Dee") Hayes, Barnard ("Barney") Hayes and her nephew Thomas ("Tommy") Case. Bea is survived by her devoted niece, Eileen (Case) Rhodes and devoted nephew James (Jimmy) Comden. Also by niece Karen (Comden) McAllister, nephew Francis Comden, nephew Donald Comden, niece Mary Catherine (Comden) Fadale, niece Cindy Hayes-Low and niece Marlene (Hayes) Sheetz; great nieces Katie and Colleen Rhodes; many other great nieces and nephews on the Comden and McAllister side of the family.

Funeral Services were held July 11 at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, Holley. Private interment, Hillside Cemetery, Holley. Contributions can be made to Hospice of Rochester, 3111 Winton Road South, Rochester 14623 in her memory.


BROCKPORT

Hube, June A., July 11, 2007. She was one of seven sisters and is survived by her only surviving sister Myrtle Jackson of New Jersey; a special niece Roxan and several other nieces and nephews in Florida, North Carolina and New Jersey. She was a longtime employee of General Motors.

A Graveside Service was held July 16 at Lakeview Cemetery, Brockport. Contributions can be made to the Catholic Service Center of Rochester, 30 North Clinton Avenue, Rochester 14604 in her memory.


O'Brien, Ronald E., November 16, 2006, of Goodyear, Arizona, formerly of Brockport. Survived by his wife, Mary Ann; son, Ron (Tammy) O'Brien; grandchildren, Kevin and Mikayla; his sister, Arlene (Robert) McAllister; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Memorial Mass was said July 20 at Church of the Nativity of BVM, Brockport. Private interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery.


Rowe, George A., died July 13, 2007 at age 92, a devoted husband, father and grandfather. A life-long resident of Brockport who worked as a U.S. Postal em-ployee for over 30 years. He was an army veteran of World War II. He learned to water ski at age 57 and continued this until a knee injury stopped him. He devoted time to taking his children water skiing. He was also a member of Brockport Yacht Club and Capen Hose. He is survived by his wife of 57 1/2 years, Janet; son, William (Jody); daughters, Carol (Chris) Hinckley and Linda (John) Baker; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held July 18 at Webster Funeral Home, Brockport. Interment, Lakeview Ceme-tery. Contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice in his memory.


HILTON

Bower, Harvey J., July 11, 2007, age 84. Predeceased by his wife, Lucille (Redick) Bower; parents, Harry and Lena (Nodecker) Bower; brothers, Hank (Onolee) Bower and "Gunny" (Marylou) Bower; sisters, Liz (Ken) Williams, Anna Bower Daly and Dorothy Bower. Survived by children, Jerry and John of Hamlin, Mike (Lynn Lemmon), Rick (Terry) and Lena Bower all of Hilton; daughter-in-law, Sheryl Bower; brother, Albert and sister, Phyllis Curtis; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Ricky, Matt (Joann), Tim (Stephanie) and Sarah; great-grandchildren Austin, Ashley and Timmy Bower; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Retired from Rochester Products, member of the Hilton Peaches Baseball Team, enjoyed bowling, boxing and golf; avid hunter, fisher-man and turtle snagger. He had a roadside vegetable stand for many years.

Funeral Services were held July 14 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Interment, Parma Union Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the S. Edelman-H. Gardner Cancer Research Foundation or Humane Society at Lollypop Farm in his memory.


Gruendike, Robert L., July 13, 2007, at age 73. He was predeceased by his parents, Adelbert and Dorothy Gruendike. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Dawn Gruendike; his children, Bamby (Bob) Seibold and Ryan (Donna) Gruendike; granddaughters, Alicia and Jennifer Lowe; his sister, Beverly Pimm; his nieces and nephews, and his grand-dog, Trevor.

Johnson, Doreen Mary, July 16, 2007, age 82. She is survived by her sons, Wayne N. Johnson, Glenn B. Johnson (Cheryl), Keith J. Johnson (Monica), David K. Johnson (Jodie); sister, Lillian Holloway (Peter); 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Markham, Mildred (Pat) Hill, Formerly of Plano, Texas, May 23, 2007. She was predeceased by her husband, Lewis S. Markham and twin brothers, Russel and Warren Hill. She is survived by her son, Phillip L. Markham of Herkimer, and daughters, Joan Maestas of Mora, New Mexico, Shelley Symonds, of Kettering, Ohio and Cheryl Markham of McKinney, Texas; sister, Marguerite Webster of Brockport; 15 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grand-children.

Osborne, Betty (Bronson), 70, of Merritt Island, Florida (formerly of Hilton) on July 15, 2007. Predeceased by her husband Jack S. Osborne. She is survived by daughters Wendy (John) Becker of Kendall, Jacque (Charles) Meyer of Cocoa Beach, Florida; son Stephen of Ocala, Florida; granddaughters, Sarah (Nelson) Williams of Murray and Emily Becker of Farmington. A sister, Vivian (Gene) New, and sisters-in-law Jeanette Bronson and Helen Sehm also survive her.

Interment will be in Parma-Union Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Contributions can be made to the Wuesthoff Brevard Hospice, 8060 Spyglass Hill Road, Viera, Florida 32940 or the Hospice of one's choice in her memory.


Prophet, Margaret Anne (Harvey), Suddenly, July 14, 2007. Margaret is survived by her husband, David Prophet; sons, David and Kevin Scalzo; parents, Walter and Clarice Harvey; sisters, Paula (Joe) Meisenzahl, and Anne (Doug) Sick; brothers, Brud (Coleen) Harvey and Chris (Sheila) Harvey; several nieces and nephews.

HOLLEY

Martin, Mary Ann "Lou" (Potter), Suddenly on July 17, 2007 at age 77. Predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Richard V. "Pep" Martin and her parents Warren and Leona Potter. Survived by her children Kimberly (James) Oliver, Jeffrey (Clara) Martin, Kyle (Randy) Baker, Todd (Bridget) Martin and Thomas (Cynthia) Martin; grandchildren Jaime and Laurel Oliver, Kristina Martin, Joshua and Katie Baker, Shannon and Shawn Martin and Christina and Nicholas Contestabile. Lou was a devoted wife and mother. After graduating from Brockport State Teacher's College in 1951, she taught Kindergarten in the Byron School District before leaving teaching to raise her family.

Private interment, Hillside Cemetery, Holley. Con-tributions can be made to the Lakeside Memorial Hospital Twig Association or to charity of one's choice in her memory.


Mon, Dominic, age 88, died July 17, 2007 in Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and a member of the American Legion Post #576 or LeRoy and St. Mary's Church, Holley. Survived by his wife, Lena Yacuzzo Mon of Holley, they were married for 50 years; brother Alfred (Carol) Mon of Texas; and several nieces and nephews; brother of the late Nicholas and Delia Mon and Mary Jenkins.

A Mass of Christian Burial was said July 21 at St. Joseph's Church, LeRoy. Interment, St. Joseph's Cemetery. Contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice in his memory.


SPENCERPORT

Skivington, Mary J., July 12, 2007. Predeceased by her husband, Thomas; parents, Gust and Zmaro Paramboukas; brother, John Parm. She is survived by her children, Michael (Sharon) Skivington, Karen (Mark) McCrea, Nancy (Guido) Barbone, Patrick Skivington; grandchildren, Eric and Jena Skivington, Adam (Kim) and Morgan McCrea, Alex and Michael Barbone, Kate and Sara Skivington; a niece and nephew. Mary was employed by Wegmans for 28 years.

A Memorial Mass will be said Monday, July 23 at 10 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, Spencerport. Contributions can be made to Mt. Carmel House, 4 Planet Street, Rochester 14606 in her memory.
