Lakeside Hospital has been recognized by the Premier Healthcare Alliance with the 2007 Premier Award for Quality for excellence in the care of patients in the area of Maternal and Neonatal Care. Donna DuPont and Barbara Klinkbeil, two nurses from Lakeside's OB department, traveled to Orlando to accept the award at the 2007 Premier Annual Breakthroughs Conference. Lakeside earned the quality award on both quality of care and operational measures. Premier's quality awards annually measure six clinical areas and data from 400 hospitals nationwide are analyzed.
