Congressman seeks students for internships in Washington and district offices

Congressman Thomas M. Reynolds (26th District) is seeking college and graduate students interested in serving as interns in his Washington, D.C., Rochester and Williamsville offices during the fall.

Intern responsibilities consist of both administrative and legislative duties including constituent relations, research, clerical tasks, managing mail and answering constituent calls. The willingness to undertake a variety of projects and the ability to work independently are also important qualities for intern applicants.

The deadline for fall intern applications is Friday, August 24. A limited number of interns will be accepted each semester. Internships are available for school credit if approved by the applicant's college or university. Internship applications from high school students wishing to work in the Congressman's district offices are accepted throughout the year.

For information or an application, visit Reynolds' website www.reynolds.house.gov, or call the Williamsville District Office at (716) 634-2324; Greece District Office at (585) 663-5570; or Capitol Hill Office at (202) 225-5265.
