Sweden Senior Center plans
two-day celebration of its accreditation

The Sweden Senior Center in Brockport will celebrate its national accreditation with events at the Center on Friday, September 14 and Saturday, September 15. The Center, at 133 State Street, became the first nationally accredited senior center in Monroe County. It is among only 10 such centers in New York state and 130 nationally to receive accreditation.

On September 14, the center will hold an open house from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. A buffet luncheon will be served at noon by reservation only.

On September 15, an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. will include a punch and cookie reception. From 6 to 9 p.m. a formal reception will take place with dancing to the live music of the Gateswingers Big Band. Hors d'oeuvres will be served.
