Chili Republican Committee endorses candidates

The Town of Chili Republican Committee unanimously endorsed incumbent Chili Town Council members Ginny Ignatowski and Michael Slattery in the September 18 Republican Primary. "I have had the privilege to work with Michael since 1999 and Ginny since 2003. They both have a proven track record and are dedicated to making Chili the best community for our residents," said Chili Republican Chairman Bernard Iacovangelo.

Ignatowski and Slattery are committed to maintaining the high quality of life for families and residents and to make sure that Chili remains a great community in which to live, work and raise a family, according to a press release.

Slattery has served as liaison to the Recreation Advisory Committee as well as the Drainage Committee. He is the liaison to the Library Board of Trustees. Prior to being elected to the Chili Town Council, he was chairman of the Drainage Committee and a member of the Chili Master Plan Committee.

Ignatowski has been active in the community. She was a member, and chair of, the Drainage Committee. She was also a member of the Master Plan Update Committee and the South Chili Re-Zoning Committee. She is liaison to the Drainage Committee and the Conservation Board. She has also served as liaison to the Library Board of Trustees and the Historic Preservation Board.
