Breast cancer walk planned

This year 180,510 Americans will be diagnosed with breast cancer. Almost 41,000 will die from this disease. Monroe County is the second highest cancer diagnosis in New York state. It is also the most frequently diagnosed cancer in women and the second leading cause of cancer death.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is a noncompetitive walk at Frontier Field, Sunday, September 30. Free parking. Registration 9 a.m., walk begins at 10 a.m. Rain or shine. For information call Anne Klein, 964-3415.
