Murray planning bicentennial celebration

The Town of Murray Bicentennial Committee held its monthly meeting to finalize plans for the celebration being held on Friday and Saturday, August 1 and 2, 2008.

One highlight of the weekend will be Saturday's Classic Car Show. This show is a part of two days worth of events, including a musical revue at the high school on Friday night and a parade featuring drum and bugle corps from around the area Saturday night.

The Bicentennial Committee is looking for volunteers to help with the staging of the Bicentennial Parade. Call David Dill at 638-8922 for information.
